About the game

Live the Legend. Twin brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee learned to fight before they could walk. Martial arts and street smarts carved them into the baddest fighting machines in the big city. But now Billy is faced with his greatest challenge - to save his girlfriend Marian from the evil clutches of the mysterious Shadow Boss and the lethal gang of thugs known as the "Black Warriors." As a master Ninja you'll punch, head-butt, and high-kick gutter slime into submission. Knives, whips, baseball bats, rocks, oil drums and dynamite are your weapons. Rat-infested slums, toxic factories and brutal back alleys are your combat zones. It's non-stop, high-voltage action culminating in an epic battle with the Shadow Boss - Billy's own twin brother Jimmy!

Stage by stage comments

Mission 1 City Slum

Nothing really frustrating... Manipulate Willy*2 and Rowper*2 (according to game manual, even if it coutains his bunch of non sense...Chintai who?) to pack them. Easy Linda and Abobo despawn (W. and Williams friendly cooperate). Some adjustements to avoid getting hit by W. and R. while whip Abobo. Also manipulate R. position during the process to kill him before winning transition. The transition disappereance glitch on W. is 7 frames faster here than my wip (kill W. before transition).

Mission 2 Industrial Area

Here begun the frustration to me cause all behavior change from my wip, sometimes good, sometimes bad, and when a solution is find, another problem come. Manipulate R. dynamite launching to kill W2. Loose some frames to pick the bat, otherwise the behavior is bad for the rest of the stage. i try many many way to avoid this pick...but all result in problems (W. or/and L. won't despawn), well if i remember good it's "only" 13 frames. That takes me forever to find this way, cause i was always searching for the quickest way.(to mention it is where i found the transition d. glitch cause i was searching a way to kill W. asap with the whip (free pick during W. spawn animation) that cause me restart the polish run lol then failed get the good set, then find bat opportunity, then cross my fingers transition glitch work with it. So. W. and L. despawn glitch. Hard Jeff despawn glitch. Transition disappereance glitch on R. (note that i had chance to couple it with good 1p positionning).

Mission 3 Forest

Manipulate R. and R2 position to avoid R1 pick the bat and pack them. L. despawn glitch. Manipulate W. W2 W3 falling/position. Abobo solitude. Manipulate W. W2 falling/position. many life time consume passing through the income. in my wip abobos pass like a charm. here, i try kill w and r before the go to abobos...slower. then go old method, then...abobo won't get fool anyway etcetc. impossible to pack W. and R. so manipulate W. position. Hard A. despawn glitch (he is green fyi). Manipulate J. and Ws to avoid punch/jump animation.

Mission 4 The hideout of the Shadow Boss

Manipulate R. dynamyte launching timing/position. Easy (but timing/position important for next) A.despawn glitch. A2 despawn glitch (difficutly depending to A1, can become near impossible). Manipulate R. and A. position to fool them (hard). Wait some frame to get boss pattern otherwise a single Jeff battle start before boss pattern. Easy The Shadow Boss despawn glitch. many life time redoing/manupulating this part to fool them like the wip.

<Explain also things that could be improved in your movie> Better despawns comprehension, better manipulations, better lag reduction... but it is fairly optimal (on his own level ^^')

If it allow, kill the input after the last jump. But the "happy life" screen won't appear and the game won't reset
