This version abuses the clock-stopping glitch. This glitch stops the clock (obviously) allowing a faster game clock time but is slower in real time. Therefore, this run achieves the abolute fastest possible game clock time, at the expense of real time.
This version is 30 seconds (in real time) faster than my previous run
- some due to manipulating when opponents get up
- a few frames from faster game clock times
- mostly from improving the fights while the clock is stopped
The following cs times were improved:
- Soda Popinski, ver 1 - 0:32.48, ver 2 - 0:31.82
- Macho Man, ver 1 - 0:35.97, ver 2 - 0:35.82
In addition the following non-cs times were improved:
- Piston Honda 1, ver 1 - 0:40.82, ver 2 - 0:40.25
- Mr. Sandman, ver 1 - 2:19.25, ver 2 - 2:19.00
And as usual:
- Uses FCEU 0.98.12
- no warps or passwords
- takes damage to save time
- manipulates luck (correction: "abuses" luck!)
- abuses programming errors in the game
- aims for absolute fastest game clock time
- aims for fastest real time as secondary goal
