I don't know ST2 very well but I'm still sure that game is significantly shorther, with one reason for it being that ST1 has more map terrain to walk through and also has more tasks to do outside the tunnels. Sami TASed both games so he might be able to give a more accurate answer.

awesome run. the route doesn't seem optimal to me (fighting Needle Man with Shadow Blades doesn't seem like the best option), but you would know better than i.
Whatever route you take you'll need to make some sacrifices. In this case, killing Needle Man this way is worth it considering the time you'll gain on the gemini stage.

Very nice! Now I await a run that skips to BitS directly:)

In spark man, would it be possible to use Rush to be faster ?
You mean using Rush Coil to jump up the ladders? I tried this but since it takes such a long time selecting Rush it was slitghly slower.
And I think you might have lost some frame near frame 43000 you use rush, but you jump doesn't seems optimal.
Shunryuu answered this good. To jump up this ladder I first have to be at the exact pixel under it which might make it seem unoptimal.

You surprised me Mr. Aglar and also you stole my future project!
With your amazing skills in these games you still might be able to beat this. If you decide to try it, I'll give my best support. Thanks for the comments!

Finally, Batman has learnt how to run:) You might want to add some game plot info, why you controlled more characters than Batman for example. However, football kicking with the enemies, glitch abusing, overall ownage and the fact that this is a Batman game makes me wanna vote yes. Good job!

Quite some years ago I was about to join some site, can't remember which, and I wanted to have a thoughtful nickname that I could stick with for the future. A friend of mine, who was a big Lord of the rings fan, choosed his nickname from an elvish dictionary and I decided to do the same. I was pretty lazy so I just picked one of the first words that meant something positive. As a consequence I can consider myself glorious - in many aspects...

I see that the color brightness is back to how it was in 0.98.12, how come? Or is this how the original colors look like?

Last movie for 5 days:) - HappyLee sure makes TASvideos go around. Why not try other games as well? There are more Super Mario games you know.

It's always a pleasure to see this type of runs, that are so glitched out that you'll almost get most surprised if a room is taken on the way it was meant to. It's amazing how you always completely crush the previous records of the games you try out, no matter how short or long you still find minuts to cut. Will you try SMB3 next?:). The yes vote was written somewhere between the lines.

I see you've had some fun while you've been away:) I watched the first one and personally think it at least has enough entertainment value to qualify for this site. However, I can't tell how technically well it was since I haven't watched the current published one.

I have thought of a feature that would be useful. When you load a savestate it would be nice if the controller showed the what buttons that are currently pressed. Now it just shows the input that was done at the frame before you loaded the state. I think snes9x have this feature. Is it possible to implement it here too?

Nice run Herr Kartong. Liked how the hero bounces around large parts of the levels. It's also a plus that I could watch it even though I apparently had the wrong rom:)

Thanks for the answers. The game I'm tasing right now seems to work fine with 0.98.25 so I'll stick with it then.

At the moment, how safe is it to use 0.98.25 - when it comes to serious TAS projects - compared to .15 and .16?

I liked the, in general, longer battles with bosses and enemies. So it can never hurt throwing in a yes vote. Would it be possible to do an "all temple"-run while allowing the left/right - trick?

I'll probably get my master degree in FoCaL (Foundation of computing, algorithms and logic) next year, then I hope my fate takes me somewhere good.

You were faster than I thought!
I guessed that:) I simply wanted to have it done before school started so I worked like a slave the last days. Here's some bonus material if anyone wants: I here complete level 6-1 7 frames faster than in my run, but it forces you to take the C-weapon which would make the next boss fight approximately 25 seconds slower.

I liked it, it's hilarious how the colors where changed while drawing and it's also cool that the re-record count is a prime number.

It's quite expected that not everyone likes this game as a speedrun, mostly due to the rather large amount of auto-scrolling levels. I'm glad to hear, though, that it's not a disappointment for who have waited for this. I also seem to have managed getting this submission between two Mario runs, that's pretty sweet:)

I somehow felt there was a reason the previous run was canceled. Finding 4 more seconds of improvement is truly amazing.

Ok, I tried my luck in Panic Restaurant's fishing game. Luck manipulation can probably be a lot better though. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/141216830/Panic%20Restaurant%20%28U%29ctf.fcm
