Hey Arc and others. Here is my test WIP for level 1. What do you guys think? Is it ok? Am I too much behind? I reached the conclusion that you neither gain or lose any frames when you get hit, in other words, its equally fast to not get hit and get hit. Im sure Arc will find flaws in my testrun. Note that I had a lot more liberty to do more stuff compared with my regular knife. Here is My Test WIP

Sorry for being late to reply on your thread Aqfaq :) I just got the ROM and will check it out now. Will edit this post later. Edit: Cute game. Good things: its certainly a pretty fast game (when the character runs), good graphics, not that terribly long. Bag things: Too bad its Japanese because I cannot obviously understand what items you get and such and its a unfamiliar game to me but feel free to continue, I aint certainly complaining :) Its absolutely outragous that there is no rerecording emulator for Master System! Because, thats where allll the good Wonderboy, Alex kidd, Kenseiden, Mickey Mouse - Castle of Illusion, Slap Shot, R-Type, Teddy Boy (<--- very cute game!) and Psycho Fox games are :(

Im currently testing to see if I can produce a good run for this game. One question for Arc, how did you make the first zombie to appear near the first grave? I have tried starting the game a few frames later to manipulate luck and also tried moving forward once the game have started a bit later without any luck. I think the two basic things you only need to know about this run is to try avoiding jumping and shooting because they slow you down a bit. (By the way, I could not find this thread and therefore created this. If there already is one, please remove my post there).

Another error with VBA. Im pretty sure I did everything right when I tried changing the settings. What happened was that the day after, none of the settings I changed last night werent there...

I am going to give this run a shot. I have recieved important info from Bag and Nach. Nach is going to help me picking the best route so I owe him a lot. But until Nitsuja or anyone who can fix the problem I mentioned in the VBA thread, I cannot work on this run until the error has been fixed. I also watched Hero Of The Day's testrun and that gave me good perspective what I should be doing/aiming for so thank you Sir :)

Nitsuja, when you play at 3% speed, and when you pause at say frame 50, then press start again to continue recording, it doesnt resume at frame 51.. instead it skips is and resumes at frame 52. Can you fix this?

I think creating a Zelda movie would be very huge. Using for instance a little bit of Lord Of The Ring animation technology, this would be a block buster! Cast: Johnny Depp as Link. That girl who was Aragorns girlfriend to play as Zelda. Ron Perlman as Ganon (so obvious). Did we forget anyone else?
