Centaur Man dead. Feel I gotta explain myself before I upload our WIP. In the first zone, you will see me slide back 3-4 frames, thats because I have to do that because otherwise I would have gotten hit from that birds fish. Doing that will delay me more, therefore, I slided backwards for a few frames.
Not switching to Knight.C in the beginning like Kyrsimys did were a winning move; gained 86 frames (if not slighty more) in the first zone.
Did many things differently, charged mega buster more, killed more enemies and prevented lag etc. This stage took me nearly 7-9 hours to complete.. Meaning, I really gave my heart completing this stage in the most efficient way. Yes, you may find some things odd in the stage but trust me, working on this stage for so many hours meant that I really tested many many things, took my time and came with the perfect version. Overall, I gained 267 frames on the stage and Adelikat gained 10 frames on the boss battle so. Oh btw, it was Adelikats idea to not switch to Knight.C in the beginning of the stage :)

Time for a new update. This time Knight Man is completed
According to my kewl partner, I gained 79 frames on the stage and I think Adelikat gained 10 frames or so on the boss fight. One thing I really liked about this stage is when I killed those green guys. It looks so cool and fast :)

Hmmmm, mine is to finally get my drivers license (hopefully, within 7-8 months from now), concentrating more on studies as Im getting pretty close (have about 1,5-2 years left) finishing my education (College) and try to get a ticket for this years World Cup in soccer. Of course, will try my best keep producing good runs ^_^

Im most definately voting no because:
1 - It only improves the current run by only 3 frames.
3 - It means nothing to me gaining these 3 frames as nobody in the world would detect or understand if this movie would get published.
2 - A game like SMB is a billion times more popular than this game and therefore we have made an exception and accepted runs with 1-3 frames of improvement of the current run.
Edit:
I also think it depends on which game we are talking about if the minimum of improvement should be one second. For instance, if someone submits a run of Mega Man 5 where it improves the current record by 1 second, it should get rejected immediately because of the length of the game. The conclusion is that shorter games like these may be ok to set the minimum for 1 second.

Grattis!! When I first saw your first version, I thought it was pretty repetitive (regarding the jumps). As you know, when I got your WIP, I told you how different this version is and how it totally rocked your previous run.
Using two characters, much better jumping by using your two players to get you up faster and the speed were more evident this time. All I can say it: !Walker Is Back!"

Yamato Man stage done. Some interesting things: Using Kyrsimys route in this stage is 187 frames faster than the so called shortcut route. The first link is me using the Shortcut Route and the second link is where I use Kyrsimys Route. Kyrsimys route wins by 187 frames.

at frame 27000, I do no such thing. If you are referring to frame 27094 where I delibrately jump one pixel higher is because my single shot reaches the 2nd enemy below. Also, in that part, the screen scrolls very bizarre when you slide near a enemy, it rolls back and forth several times.

Remember that in Mega Man 6, you have to wait 1-2 frames before jumping from a slide so thats the explanation for frame 27000. For frame 27800, if you jump one frame earlier, you would get hit.

By the way: at this stage, we are 212 frames faster than Kyrsimys current WIP and 275 frames faster his current published run.

This WIP update is a strange one... First, let me tell everyone that this stage, was a Real Pain In the ARSE! It involved, luck manipulation, several different jumping routes in the end, blood&tears you name it. You'll probably see that during the last zone, I jump awkwardly a bit too long but I can ensure you all that those jumps have all been measured and tested. Meaning, if I would have for instance jumped 13 pixel to reach platform X, I wouldnt make it as its obviously required to jump 14 pixel (you get the picture). Now, if someone would improve this stage, you'd have to pick, a drastically different jumping route or something huge that I missed, because honest to God, I really checked so many different things to make it faster without any luck. This is the best (so far) I could do, and as always, everyone, please give me some feedback if you detect the slighest thing you want to ask or you saw something that I may have overlooked etc.
