I have not tested your black hole bomb route but sure could use a hand :) I just first want to make sure killing the other spider leaves us with the same or better rng.

Sorry for the late reply my man. Since you had bad rng, I went back and killed one of the two spiders you avoided in case we would get a better rng for the miniboss. The closest I got waisting 1 frame was when the miniboss moved one block to the right so it's still a no dice situation. Granted, I did not thoroughly test this approach but I am pretty sure there isn't much left to test with this route. I also tested waiting 2 frames but it was the same result. What's left to test is killing the opposite spider and see if that result in a better manipulation. Diggi, are you absolutely sure it takes 8 whole frames to grab a simple weapon refill? It sounds a lot :( Haven't had time to measure exactly how many frames it takes to grab a small refill since I am trying to get a good rng for the miniboss.

Aaaaaaaaaand here is me kicking Splash Woman's ass real good. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/20825411004531613 It was a bit hard manipulating the bees to move down or up but overall I am quite satisfied with the fight. There was one instance (I think it's the second hit) where a bee delayed by 2 frames to hit her. I obviously tried firing the bee 1-2 frames earlier but she still had her vulnerability period so no dice there. Other than that, the fight is pretty much spot on.

I am going to test redoing the second half of the stage, avoid getting hit from the spider and see if it saves time. I manipulated my bees to beeeeeee very beeeautiful and helpful ^_^ The boss is the easiest boss I have ever seen. If you jump, he jumps, if you walk, he walks, if you eyeball him he will go ballistic on your ass! Edit: For reference, the first began moving upwards at frame 39771. Edit 2: As far as I am concerned, if you remove the first from the spider, you are forced to take hit from the another spider since your H.Bomb is still active and thus you cannot create a new one in time to avoid damage. Therefore I have nothing more to add to this stage. Your call now Diggi. Edit 3: ...And I just finished the boss. I am at the miniboss with Rush Coil. Unfortunately, I cannot one round him with simple shots :( I am 3 shots away from it so it won't work. I guess I should switch to Magma weapon since I have no choice. Quite sure your version is much faster. Edit: here is my file: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/20584096173162757 It's merely 19 frames slower than yours :((( IF we would somehow manage a one round fight with the miniboss, my version would most definitely be faster. Also, you forgot a minor thing in your version, ladder zip just before the gate. Again, if we somehow would manage finding those three shots and make a one round fight against the miniboss, we then would have a definite version. One possible route is to switch to Magma Bazooka right before the miniboss. Edit 2: I tried using all Magma Bazooka on the miniboss but it's really slow. Slower than Mega Buster. So your version is the fastest one Diggi.

Okay I believe I have in my head how the route will be in Hornet Man. Basically, the idea is to go only Rush Coil in this stage. The main concern I have is the miniboss flower thingy. Should still be faster going all Rush Coil and then switch to Concrete shot. Will gladly give this a try after work.

Here comes version 5? In order to save those two extra Concrete Shots, I had to take another hit :( http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/20472615707661779 This version is 21 frames slower compared with the one I previously uploaded. There is one more version left for me to test, then I am completely done with this godforsaken stage.. Tased the whole stage so many times now. Edit: Diggi, my final version involves getting two big refills for Concrete Shot. Then I will max out zipping a lot of enemies. How many more Concrete Shots will I afford using grabbing a second big refill?
