Here it is. My long list of suggestions for this run. Hope it will be useful some day, enjoy! The thing with Megaman 4 is that it may have a undiscovered glitch with the Balloon. I wonder if several people would work togheter and investigate whether or not you can go through walls and similar useful things with it as Bisqwit, Finalfighter and Morimoto did in their run. Im most certain at 98% it should work. Overall, I think whoever decides to give this run a try should always try using Balloon no matter if the trick that is been used in Rockman1 & 2 works or not on Megaman 4, because you can skip many enemies, getting higher on ladders and so forth. I also suggest doing Drill Man level first due to you'll get Rush Jet Adaptor here if you are going to use Rush Jet Adaptor in many places, which may not be necessary due to the efficiency of the Balloon. Kopernical, you are absolutely right, my smile were inappropriate, try disregard that goofy thing from me, sorry bro :) >Pharaoh Man Level< At: 00:26 - You did a wonderful thing, namely that you could actually slide under those scorpions :) so, my only concern here is that can you repeat this thing several times during this part in Pharaoh Man level (I was especially thinking of doing this at 00:25, 00:29, 00:32 and 00:34? If so, you maybe could save som time. I'll bet if it really does work you have to hit the button really fast to pull it off :) 01:05 - I was thinking if its even useful to stand a bit further on those flying robots in order to reach to the next on faster? I think it may be useful to do that, what do you think? And thats basically all suggestions I could find on this level, nice boss battle. >Ring Man Level< At: 02:49 - I got the feeling that you might have grabbed the ladder some frames to soon right? 03:38 - I'll bet that you've already tried to see if works to simply walk through that big robot. And a suggestion here would be that you here choosed Pharaoh armor to get quicker through him. I know you end with just one shot left of Pharaoh but there might be a solution to that below here :) 03:17 - Notice how you charge your Pharaoh armor, thus your armors health decreases, which might not be necessary due the forthcoming lag at this stage and seeing no need to hit those enemies. If this is possible, then you'd saved some Pharaoh armor shot. 03:28 - If you paus here, can you see the thing Im seeing, namely that you might are 1-2 frames off to the left? You should be able to be 1-2 frames at right here. 03:51 - Is it necessary to hit these enemies? Are you hitting them to avoid lag? Excellent boss fight btw. >Dust Man Level< At: 05:13 - Same thing here, you seem a bit away to the closest wall when you are going down, can you be nearer and save som frames? 05:25 - Don't charge, because my theory is that you would only create more lag, either shoot a fast Pharaoh shot or simply avoid hitting him. 05:44 - Excellent done all the way through those rocks! >Skull Man Level< 07:13 - Here I would like people to investigate whether its possible to use Balloon to already here pass through this wall or not. 07:16 - Or try using Balloon here to go up outside the screen and move at the speed of light forward a long way forward :) Worth trying I believe :) 07:50 - Release yourself from the ladder, jump at the near edge, and continue climbing. Agreed? >Dive Man Level< At: 09:37 - I think you should be able to slide on your Balloon right? If so, then by doing a quick slide and a jump could reslut in avoiding getting hit here. 10:14 - Same possible suggestion as similar suggested note above, and as always, excellent boss battle! >Drill Man Level< At: 11:26 - I just realized that you can actually skip your regular armor and use your Balloon here.. You must agree with me that you can use Balloon 2/3 of this stage and by using Ballon, I just know you might save seconds doing it. And I don't think you have to worry about these enemies at 11:53 if you have the Balloon beacause they are either to slow to get near you or they move upwards. 12:01 - Balloon might be efficient here and perhaps on the second floor. 12:04 - From here (1/3 left of the stage) you can now switch to any weapon you desire and try avoid hitting unnecessary enemies (besides from the obvious falling rocks), 'cause those flying head's aren't any threat to you or the lag I believe. 12:49 - Great boss battle besides from only 2 questions, 1: why did you took a hit at 12:49? 2: At: 12:53, do you agree with me that due to you are facing away from him, you are losing some frames until your shot reaches him? If you'd simply facing him, I believe that your shot would actually hit him faster. >Toad Man Level< At: NOTHING :) Well well, nothing improvable here ^_^ I felt everything was done very efficiently. Maybe your boss battle you could stand some frames closer to him so you when you shoot you even dont have to raise your arm to fire due to how close you stand next to him. >Bright Man Level< At: 16:10 - I would you to at this stage begin to press upwards so you can reduce some frames and to be able to jump higher on the ladder. 16:44 - Got the impression that you might have been some frames after to push upwards. 16:59 - Would sliding be faster to reach to the next floor thingy and to the next etc? I think it might be the case. 19:06 - Im most certain that using Balloon here, instead of using Rush Jet would be faster as you can pretty much easily use it further, right? Notice also the delay on 19:15 where you have to wait about a second for Rush Jet to reappear. using Balloon from previous stage and here to boss battle would surely save some time or even seconds. 20:22 - Here I have a big and sweet idea to you :) Lets say you'll use Balloon instead of Rush Jet already here. Couple of frames would probably be saved here and further. 20:28 - Useful using Balloon here and I know that enemy above might hit but cant you with the tightest and accuracy use Balloon on the left side aswell to avoid getting hit from him? 20:36 - Here comes my big idea.. How about using Balloon at this stage and while sliding on your own Balloons (if its possible sliding on your own Balloons, if not my idea still should work) you can reach to the nearest armor refill (and as you already know, each time you use Balloon only 1 armor health is used), take it and continue with your high speed making Balloons, most probably you don't need to take the second armor refill if you'd used Balloon and Im quite positive you would have made it to the ladder with Balloons. If this idea would work, I believe you would save big time here using my suggestion! Further on this level, you can see for yourself that you use Balloon very well indeed. 21:45 - Boss Battle. I know it pains you that you couldn't hit the boss with the final shot to end him :) but maybe, just maybe you can actually do it if its possible here to NOT jump that high and possibly doing a extremely quick jump afterwards to hit him again. Sounds pretty far-fetched, I know. 23:18 - Balloon kopernical ^_^ You'd with Balloon gain a very high height and grabbing the ladder on near topp of the screen. While you'd picked Balloon, you could have used it at: 23:23 right? Here you can reach the topp of the ladder with Balloons. 23:42 - That refill was surely not necessary was it? As it slows you and your overall time down. 24:45 - Here I felt you hesistated, why? 25:22 - Wonder if you'd jump here you would go down faster? 25:31 - Feel that you are 1-2 frames away from the right side of the wall/air. 27:27 - Now I wonder it would be efficient using Balloon at this stage until 27:51? As i think it would be hard using Balloon during the water stage. 28:12 - Balloon would be better as you would get much better height to reach the topp left nearest ladder. 28:17 - Same thing here. 28:20 - Didn't you grab the ladder a bit to soon? 28:52 - Why didn't you shoot again? He did not blink at this stage. 30:26 - Can you jump from here? Since when I paused at this stage, I could se that you were for a split second moving (i.e walking) forward which should enable you to jump on the ladder. 30:56 - Excellent boss battle. 31:56 - Faster if you jumped to get down faster? When you face the stage bosses again you fought every single one of them beautifully. The main rule fighting these stage bosses at this point is always to deceive them to get closer to you at your right side so you can quickly as possible transport back to the main room after you've defeated them. 35:52 - Here I had an great idea. What if its possible to use Balloon either on the near surface to accelerate inside the wall OR use Balloon to reach upwards in order to accelerate forward?

Andreas, have you read my entire post? because I dont think that I wear out the words could've and should've (even though yes I do sometimes write them a bit often). Those were only examples of words that I used to justify my constructive and kind suggestions. Others words that I used were: Why aren't you, I'll bet, Haven't we all, Same thing here, I got the impression, here I had an idea, shall I continue? I think I varied well enough with my words. Im probably not BUT since if you would decide to call Rush, it would be highly efficient because there are many spots to use him. See for yourself.

Its quite simple. If this is possible, use Shadow Mans armor, jump at the exact spot you land on after coming down from the ladder, when you are in the air, press down so you can shoot the bubbles you are standing on, did I explain better now? Instead of going around the bubbles, use my method (as I said, if its even possible to do it).

Thats not correct. You had plenty of armor (Magnet beam) left. Nearly half of it left, so you could've "pre-shot" them to slide without lag and it should've saved time.

Not sure if your point is correct. Because there is a "decent" space to jump on and then calling on Rush although Im quite sure of my suggestion, it should be further investigated.

Almost all of my suggestions, I wrote: Could've, should've etc... These words are kind and constructive words/critique, not negative ones.

Wrong. Im most certain that in a few years people will search for other resourceful and small files to download + in the very near future, many media companies who produce dvd-players will enable them to play several different kind of files (and not just avi and mpeg, currently now). You have to be open-minded about things, I certainly want to maintain avi files but as i said, in the future (some years from now), I can almost promise that avi:s and mpeg:s will be gone :)

Man this took me hours to finish hehe. But here is my list of suggestions and ideas. There are probably more tricks and glitches to discover in this game but I probably estimate that if 90% of my suggestions is to your benefit, you could probably save at least, near a minute from Kopernicals current run. Here is my note: >Gemini Man Level< At: 00:21 - Couldn't you jumped over that penguin? 00:55 - Why aren't you jumping and then going up on the ladder? 01:05 - I'll bet if you really slide very fast here, you can probably skip hitting this flying bug. 01:10 - Haven't we all reached to the conclusion that if megaman jumps before going down on a hole, he goes down faster? 01:12 - Same thing here, Jump before goind down in the hole. 01:40 - Maybe if you used Rush Jump (or whatever that dog's name is ^_^) ) while going up on the ladder, you could perhaps avoided getting hit by that big machine and saving time. 01:53 - I got the impression that you hesitated for a bit here, could you have also improved your battle if you stood a bit closer to him? I was thinking of your fights against ProtoMan, similar to that, that was excellent (against ProtoMan), you stood as close as you could so try that method with Gemini Man. >Snake Man Level< At: 04:21 - Instead of just sliding down, couldn't you done a half-slide and then jumped over that enemy? You should be able to do it, since you've got a big height. 04:42 - Jump down, instead of sliding. 04:45 - Same thing here, jump down. 04:52 - here I had an idea. What if you used Rush Jump so that, for the reason nr 1: You could skip going up on the ladder all the way, 2: At 04:56, using here RUsh Jump so you could jump over that enemy, at: 05:02 - using same idea here, use Rush Jump to jump over him. 05:19 - I was thinking that maybe you could've used Rush Jet at this point and pressing upwards so you could maybe save 1-2 seconds here? :) I should work even though those enemies jump very high you could then maybe just also jump to avoid them. 05:37 - Here comes a big question about lag. Now if you hit them, aren't you slowing down yourself? If so, you can basically savy a few seconds here, so DONT hit those enemies. 05:40 - Same thing here, avoid hitting them. 05:42 - Same thing here, avoid hitting them, also why didn't you simply go up a bit in order to skip hitting them? 05:48 - Im sure you could've done a bit better here. Possibly jumping over them with cautious precisness might do the trick.. 05:57 - What are you waiting and standing still for? It seems that you could've delivered maybe 1-2 extra shots standing there and thus saving time. >Magnet Man Level< At: 06:54 - Excellent fight but could've you stood maybe 1-2 frames closer to ProtoMan? 'Cause I can see a tiny gap between your armor and him :) 07:10 - Jump from here to the hole, I assume you could save a few frames here, my suggestion should be beneficial here. 07:34 - Is it possible using Rush Jet on that tiny gap so you could jump on Rush and then climbing on the ladder? 07:54 to 08:02 - Too big gap between you and Magnet Man, ProtoMan battle is the perfect example here (if its possible). >Hard Man Level< At: 08:49 - I don't think that hit was necessary, on the contrary, I think if you kept sliding you could've avoided that hit and saving some frames here. 08:53 - I Think you could've used Rush Jump already here in order to "almost" skip climbing the ladder instead of using Rush Jump THERE at the next scenario, so should be able to use Rush Jump here at 08:49 and continue using him. 09:11 - You should definitely use Rush Jump here, you can most definitely save a second here. 09:35 - Same process here, use definitely Rush Jump, save another second here. 09:53 - Nice battle as always with against ProtoMan. But at 09:53, jump down in the hole, since I stated before, that it seems that MegaMan goes faster downwards if he jumps in the hole. 10:09 - Your battle against Hard Man seems very good except for one thing, that hit shouldn't be necessary and should be avoided - saving 2-3 frames. >Top Man level< This level seems very well executed but with a few minor questions. Could you have sticked with one strong armor instead of changing your armor? And your battle against TopMan was great I suppose. I assume that you intentionally got hit by him to prevent him from doing something... Now as he moves to the left, could you have saved a couple of frames if you shot a bit earlier your Hard Knuckle? >Shadow Man Level< At: 12:43 - OH man how I love this levels music (probably the best music-level in a megaman game ^_^), anyway, at the very beginning, you could've jumped in order to get faster downwards, so jump here and don't slide. 12:47 - Same thing here, jump instead of sliding. 12:52 - Same thing here, jump instead of sliding :) 12:59 - I think there is a tiny gap between you and Protoman that you can fix. A 1-2 frames could be minimized here. 13:06 - You could've certainly jumped over him and skiping hitting him. 13;07 - Same thing here? 13:08 - Same thing here? 13:13 - Same thing here? 13:21 - As always, jump downwards. 13:34 - I think you jumped a bit to high here. A "middle jump" would've reduced a couple of frames here. * Shadow Man fight excellent but should've avoided that one hit from him (if its possible) >Spark Man level< At: 14:29 - Could you have used Rush Jump here and the above ladder to almost avoid climing on them? And also using Rush Jump here at 14:42, also if you decided to use Rush Jump at 14:29, there are many places to use him, for instance at 14:47 and maybe 14:50 - to be able to jump at the second spot, using Rush Jump at 14:56 would be very efficient and would probably save a near second here, 15:00 use Rush Jump also here. So you see, there are many places to save time and frames by using Rush Jump. 15:08 - Jump downwards as told earlier. 15:43 - Now is it possible to stand as near as ProtoMan, at SparkMan? If so, frames could be saved here. At: 16:28 - This is another "middle" time saver I've thought of. If you would use already here Magnet Beam, you would most probably avoid lag, save time and frames, right? :) 16:51 - Jump downwards. 17:03 - Now here I was thinking of a tiny shortcut. Is there no armor where you can shoot the direction you want? Ah yes, Shadow Man's armor hehe. In this case, right where you land so you don't have to go around these bubbles :) Here you can save a few seconds yes!!!! 17:06 - No need to shoot this first bubble right? maybe 1 fram could be saved here. 17:52 - Nothing to notice here except maybe if you even would shoot a bit faster your regular armor you could've hit your underwater enemies faster and avoiding less lag. 18:50 - Jump downwards here. 19:48 - Until Boss battle - Now here is alot of lag, maybe unnecessary hits etc.. My question here is: Maybe you could've saved SECONDS here if you for instance either moved Rush Jet dynamically or simply jumping dynamically instead of shooting them, thus creating lag. 21.18 - Jump downwards here. 21.20 - Same thing here. 21:23 - Same thing here. 21:33 - Same thing here :). 21:42 - Don't hit that enemy that explodes. Skip, hitting him and hence you will avoid lag, just shoot that thingy which turn the lights on and jump over that exploiding rock enemy. 21:44 - Same thing here, you don't need to shoot him, jump over him 21:51 - Same thing here, I think you would probably make it jumping over him. 22:23 - Certainly no need to take that health refill :) Skipping that would probably save between 0,5-1 second. 22:38 - Now since you didn't use Magnet Beam afterwards you don't need to take those armor refills, Skipping those would probably save near 0,5 second, due to minor lag when getting them. 23:00 - Was these taking hits necessary? (probably, if probably not you could've saved seconds here). 24:15 - Should be possible to jump here in order to get faster downwards. 24:38 - Now since you've picked Magnet Beam as your current armor, you should use it to your advantage and shoot those big rocks, timesaver here. 26:03 - Jump here so you can get downwards faster. 26:20 - Wrong method here. Take a brief jump on the edge back to the ladder to get faster up to the surface. 26:45 - As always, jump in order to faster get down. 27:38 - Avoid getting that armor refill, avoiding it would save a few frames and 0,x seconds. 25:50 - Possible to jump in order to get down faster? 28:53 - Same thing here, but here you can obviously jump to get down faster. 29:03 - I'll bet with some experimentation or with luck manipulation get to that flying rock/surface in order to faster reach the ladder, if so, 1-1,5 second can be saved here. 29:30 - Jump to get down faster. 29:56 - Jump to get down faster. 30:11 - Wouldn't be smarter to simply doing all the right bosses and then heading towards the left bosses? Im very very sorry but I cannot demonstrate what I did because that "accident" I did was pure mind-blowing luck and I don't know how I can do it again. Like I said, I pressed all the buttons including up-left-right-down buttons (because I got paniced that moment :) ) And this happened while I was in the middle on the ladder in ElecMan level + I played this game on my Megaman anniversary game (GameCube), but I hope this does not affect the possibility to do it on a emu. I just know it should work!! Edit: Truncated, what I meant by pressing all the buttons (besides the left-right-down-up buttons) is the shooting button and jumping button.

Not sure if this has been brought up but I recently played this game and did something strange. When I was climbing up on a ladder I accidentally pressed the release button but instantly pressed all BUTTONS to remain on the ladder, but what happened was that I could in that moment jump upwards on the ladder! Don't know how I can explain better but I hope you understand. Edit: If this is possible, then perhaps you can jump upwards until you've reached the surface instead of climbing the ladder.

Fatalities makes the run much longer, which I highly don't recommend, also if he uses only one type of fighting style, then he simply should find 2-3 other fighting styles so that the audience can be pleased while maintaining good speed.
