This game is extremly hard, and that is an understatement. Even the regular enemies are pretty hard to kill. A speedrun of this would be indeed hiiiighly impressive but I wonder (if ever) someone can do a legit speedrun regarding how hard it is...

Bisqwit forget about him (not I don't respect him, I like his run) do your own thing, so what if you do a complete new version of Rockman 2 and if a certain level is 2 seconds slower, as long as your version kicks/smashes the current version by minutes I think many people will be so happy. I think many people agrees with me that the current Rockman 2 version is so damn old... Therefore even if you do a new version that obsoletes it with only 20 or 30 seconds I still would love to download and erase Morimotos run and keep your run. And about you having lack of time is absolutely understandable. I mean you encode, write messages here, help people find their way here etc etc. But what if Phil or someone else could help with thoose things for a month or so (or for the time it takes for you to complete the run with 100% satisfactory) so you could take your time and do the run? Pretty plz just say yes and do it, forget about everything and just do it man :) "Phil* the reason we are so urgent its because we all have a burning desire to see a new freeeeeesh version of Rockman 2. Thats why we cant take it anymore + for the love of the game = Rockman/Megaman.

I think you can improve Radix time by quite a bit. 1:20-ish should be the perfect time. And when someone does a 100% run the time should be near 1:40.

Hi air_devil how you been mate? Finally my finals is finished and done so I played just recently the final boss and beat both of them (Ing and DS). I got a final time of 30h and 75% done. As you may tell I certainly did not rush when I completed the game, I took it really easy or slow I should say but in overall Im pretty satisfied with my run. Compare with MP I did better this time. My battle against Ing (in the third phase) was pretty nice :) I only used the Annihilator Beam (correct spelling?) against him and it worked like a charm. Finished him off in a few minutes and it was pretty easy. In overall this game seemed/seems sofar better made than MP. Metroid Prime had so many tricks and glitches but this one seems to have less room for glitches and tricks. I have not followed the discussions on the metroid prime2 echoes forum but I can't imagine how you can for instance skip a major upgrade (such as light suit) if you are going to do a speedrun/fastest time. My point is; this time, Retro Studios has done better job than before (not that MP were bad, it kicked ass) + I got the feeling that its more interconnected compared with Metroid Prime. I really enjoyed every bit of this game, Its so many things that makes this game sooo damn good (for instance the graphic amazed me).

You are totally wrong Tarzan. Me and Walker have 10mbps speed and are more than willing to host this great site. But we need more people with at least 10mbps, because only 2 persons cannot handle the entire host. Therefore for me at least it would not be a slight problem to host a file if the file is 5gig or 20mb.

Hello there. Now I've got all the sky temple keys! *sweet* :) But I think I better collect some more missiles and tanks and other stuff before face the final stage. Right now I have about 150 missiles so Im gonna get more of those.

you cannot discuss with people who are narrow minded or only looks at one direction. Therefore I really doubt if speedrunners will understand that we in the timeattack community will never care or listen to bad comments, people who take this to seriously like alexpenev wrote, simply don't have a life. So Im affraid it wont happen for many years until a vast majority of the speedrunners community will really understand us. And I hate saying all the time: "us and them" I don't care, I will download anything thats fast, enjoyable and fun to watch. When as I person know the difference and how a certain game was made + that Im open for suggestions, open minded and not narrow minded so I can enjoy even further a certain game. Not sitting home and watching like a donkey a timeattack game and thinking: "Oh man that was nice but to bad its a timeattack movie and cheating". Cheating according to who? We publish our movies based on OUR RULES, not by speedrunners, nor at sda and certainly not at twin galaxies :) Maybe someday the attitude will change (I bet Red Scarlet is still pissed off for Jecys Super Metroid run and keep in mind that he never wanted that run to be spred in public and certainly not sended in at sda but somehow someone did send it and he has insurred that this was not his inention to be like this) certainly not for a long time but quite frankly I don't care what speedrunners think of us, because I have received 120% satisfaction at this marvellous and beautiful site. Go Bisqwit Go! ^_^

hmmm For me the Boost Guardian was pretty simple. Nothing much to say about him, but now I was fortunate and destroyed Chykka Chakka or whatever the hell his/her/it name is :) and man this game kicks ass big time so far! I received Dark Visior, soooo beautiful thing :)

Okay I think its time for someone else to do improve Rockman 2. I can almost promise we wont see a improved timeattack from Morimoto (at least probably not for another year or so), and so what. There are several good known megaman players here, Bisqwit, Kopernical, Sleepz, Woodball, Gigafrost, Megafrost, Bleechy, prower etc. I certainly hope some of these guys takes the challenge, personally I would like Bisqwit to do it because of the marvellous glitch he found on rockman1.

Bisqwit this movies sound is ahead with 1-2 seconds. It happens about during the half of the game. Is It possible for another one?
