Trust me, Baxter and I aren't certainly the only ones who look forward to this. Tasing isn't all about zipping and whatnot. It's also about "superhuman" reflexes aswell :D And besides, with all due respect, it would definitely be nice to see something else besides Mega Man 10 and Melee submissions :)

I really don't think that would be a good idea. There was/is a reason why we couldn't instantly switch weapons. What I am trying to say is, we have to respect the structure of old games. I am in sort of in disbelief what I just watched because of how purely awesome it was. sparky, parrot14green, woabclf's SNES Rockman & Forte "100 CDs" in 38:07.68 equals to everything what tasing is all about; being fast as hell, jamming a huge donkey punch to the game's throat (= glitchfest) while being very entertaining. Voted no. Bad game choice and despite that, you couldn't do much to make it entertaining enough and the due to the game choice, you couldn't do a lot of tas maneuvers.

Congratulations on the discovery. With all due respect, I hope this won't be incorporated in the future any% and 96-exit run as it really loses it's entertainment value if basically all or huge amount of the stages will look like that. Own category (if people find it entertaining enough, I don't if all stages will be completed in 2-3 seconds) is probably the best thing.

It was removed a long time ago because nobody was actively working on it. It can pretty easily be reimplemented. All you need to do is find the revision which removed it and pull it back in into dolphin.

I find it strange that people reported positive review when skid submitted the revision which supposedly reduced the hickups with savestating and yet it doesn't fully work for you. But this happened when you tried dumping your input file to avi right? Prior to that, save- and loadstates worked fine, no?

When it comes to these type of games, speed is not focused. Your run would most probably get rejected.

Congratulations on this achievement. We always learn that no run is safe from being improved and what's more shocking is alleged perfect movies being improved. Not saying Ism or Mister said that the current published run was perfect, it was more or less flawless. This is also evident with Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Mega Man, Mega Man 2, Mario64 and Super Mario Bros. I salute everyone's determination. Here is my yes vote and I and surely other wonder who will improve the all-exit run? It's time :)

A dumb question, isn't an emulator doing it more "right" by not emulating waiting periods? Because the waiting periods is a result of a disc reading the next area. Isn't an emulator a better option in such case because we aren't using a disc, but rather an .img or .iso and therefore don't have waiting periods? All in all, I too want an emulator to emulate the waiting periods but I still would like to get an answer for my question.

About the waiting periods, are you guys aware that you can turn off the speed disc option? If not, please give it a try and see if Dolphin then properly emulates the waiting periods. If so, we have one less thing to worry about.
