Thank you sgrunt, adelikat and everyone else! I am very happy that we have published TASvideos first Sega Master System run and I look forward to produce more runs and also look forward to see adelikats ninja gaiden run :) along with sgrunts sonic run and others who are working on their SMS runs.
Edit: The new avi works much better :)

This game is suited for a TAS :) Good work so far. Although I wonder if it would not have been faster to use that bomb thing earlier with the crows rather than afterwards. Other than that, I thought it was damn funny to see the first boss. Was he naked?..

Alright, thanks for the info. I think we have agreed on skipping the Tasmanian Sword. What we could do is try to get as many arrows as possible for the Mummy Dragon. Do we need arrows after that? Also, I will get started tomorrow. When I saw your recent test wip, I thought the first part looked good and I sincerely doubt I could gain any frames. But I want to test a few things before using your wip. I am glad to work on this project with someone who knows this game pretty well :) I'll send you our run within 2-3 days. Later!

Thanks for uploading :) I will watch it a.s.a.p.
Lets discuss this. If I am not mistaken, to get the Tasmanian Sword, it involves collecting around 1700 gold to purchase it + the viewers wont be able to see cool boss fights and areas. If this is the case then I say, lets really skip it. Even though it might save time, I am fairly sure it is a lot more entertaining to skip it. Also, should we not test to whether or not, get those arrows for bosses? If you have already have an answer for that, it would save us a lot of thinking :)
If the game is indeed a straightforward game and does not require us to find the optimal route, then by all means, finish the rest of the testrun so that I know where to go :) Its been too long since I played this and I have forgotten the path.

Ogre, check your topic :) http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5089&start=40
For visual and other minor useful comparison, feel free to check this site: http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/wonderboy/wonderboy.htm
FODA, I have thought about it but I thought maybe it is better if you would work on it since you discovered some screen glitch bug or something like that. But I could start working on Miracle World provided you explain to me or show me how the glitch works (assuming it saves time). Also, for my next project, these are the candidates (no specific priority):
1. Mega Man Zero 1 for Gameboy color.
2. Mega Man 4 or 5 for Gameboy.
3. Resume working on Mega Man 4 for NES.
4. Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap (this is the one I really would like to work on).
5. Wonder Boy 2 - Wonderboy in Monsterland.

I would very much like to work on this run. But, I do not think I can determine the route myself. If anyone have a well thought and solid route for the weaponry and the route, please let me know as soon as possible so I can get started.
Edit: Ogre, we could work on this together if you'd like. Also, it would be great if want to upload your wip. I am in desperate need for a route :)

I took the liberty and deleted lots of off topic posts. Also, no, Taco and Saturn are not the same person as I checked and compared their IP (although that probably does not tell us much).

WOWIE WOW WOW! You get billion points for perfect synchronization dancing with the music! Smashing run. It was a long time ago I had so much fun watching a submission. You had magnificent momentum throughout the whole run. Clearly starworthy material. Huge yes vote O_o

Thank you all for your comments. I always encourage opinions (no matter if they are positive or negative) :D Anyway, huge thanks to pcc for being patient with me and splicing all the stages (expect all the boss fights because they would not sync). I redid 1-1 as I noticed 2 timesavers and 2-2 thanks to stickyman05. This new version is 660 frames faster than the former run. So feel free to rewatch my run, enjoy!

Most impressive. When I watched it, I got the impression that you totally knew what you were doing so kudos for making a thorough tas. Also, I think you improved one of TASvideos oldest runs :) Clear yes vote.
Edit: I also would like to say that the music is very cool, especially the second stage.

Ah yes, it was slower by 3-4 frames (give or take). Its because of that lodge which is too near for me to keep moving at great speed.
Also:
I found a faster way :) I am redoing from 1-1 because I noticed something else that I did not do. The good news is that pcc has offered help and will splice some segments so I wont have to redo the whole run from scratch.

Very nice and entertaining run Frenom :) Its so good to see another SMS run, and its none other than Psycho Fox. Also, the jumping sound is so oldstyle :D I loved it. Promise you will work on a warpless run. This run really deserves it.

I also support the idea of letting the warpless run getting the warped runs star. This run contained more creativity and entertainment. About the run, very nice shortcut in 3-1. Again, superb performance. Yes vote and a star for this run please!

Stunning run. What can I say other than Toad for the win, Toad = speedy gonzales and may Luigi be punished for being slow! I noticed you sometimes twitched at the laddders, which was fun to see. Congratulations to both of you. Easy yes vote. Now, lets see the warpless run.

.. What the hell is wrong with me? Why did I not think of these obvious things? Im redoing from that part as we speak. I appreciate your observation.
Edit: It is 468 frames faster to walljump in the water area. Im terribly sorry for this. I honestly simply did not think about it. Im so ashamed of myself.

It was meant for you :)
Why be sorry? I thank you for finding these improvements. Now about the first one, I am somewhat doubtful about your first suggestion. By all means, feel free to test further to verify if it saves times. The reason why I am doubting is because it takes time before the frog ninja comes at you.
Good call. I did not even thought of taking damage because I only had 1 HP left.

I thought my discovery might interest the people who have played this game before or are familiar with it. You can zip by frame on frame 1 by pressing left+right, dont press anything on frame 2 and then press up on frame 3 and you will wrap like crazy :) These glitches seems to only work on ladders and so far they arent useful. Oh and it might be worth mentioning that the platforms can be misplaced when you wrap and zip. I use the Alex Kidd in Shinobi World (UE) [!].sms and here is the file: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1057497526/AlexKiddinShinobiWorld.mmv

Yeah I forgot to mention that. Oh and at one time, the text says: "you have obtained sord X" :)
Thank you all for watching, It made me pretty happy that a few of you saw this run since SMS is not exactly a popular platform :)

In my opinion, listing merely 3 games that you would not consider tasing does not warrant creating a topic. But, I will take the liberty and edit the topic title so that it appeals to everyone and to more games. I'll also move this to the off-topic section. If there is already a similar topic there then Bisqwit could be so kind and eventually merge them.
