Behold! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cLWhG5CGYI 1) My sweet sweet old pal adelikat created for me an emulator called Multihawk just so I could pursue my crazy dream of controlling 9 Mega Men simultaneously. I was quite hearbroken and devastated when I previously hit several major unexpected desyncs with fceux. I sucked it up, restarted a few times but it happened to me again with the desyncs. Then came my dear friend and created Multihawk. I will forever be in debt to you :) Please remind me to donate to you/this site. Long overdue for my part. 2) Mothrayas, the encoder (also a very dear friend of mine). Again, many thanks to him for taking on this major task of encoding. He even managed to insert that lovely NES controller dialog. What's also very important about Mothrayas part is that he managed to replay the single moviefile and it synced for him the very first time. This means that Multihawk is absolutely bulletproof! Thanks my man. I know, it feels like I am writing a submission text haha but trust me, this is actually in my opinion a personal milestone and for future multitasing. This also means I got all the motivation I need to someday finish this run. It's obviously unbelievably hard tas. For instance, approximately every 20-30 frames, you are faced with a unique and torturing situation that you must solve best way possible. I hope to finish this run before 2017. The wip is almost 1 minute long. Until then! The Fire Rises!

I get really annoyed when people use the argument: "this series has x number of stars already and therefore another run of said series cannot obtain a star even though it clearly deserves it". If a run deserves a star, then let it, regardless of "Well Ocarina of Time has one so we must take its and get it to Majora's Mask". I don't care if it's a Mario, Mega Man, Zelda or Metroid game. If a game clearly deserves a star, then give it to it.

Itspersonnal, whats the average desync ratio for you? I was thinking if it's bearable, it's really worth continuing your run. If you are however suffering from a lot of desyncs, then I dont really blame you that much. When I tased Metal Slug X on FBA, I would hit desyncs alllll over the place. Thankfully that run was merely about 15 minutes long so I stuck to it. Metroid Prime being around 40 minutes-ish of gameplay + 3D game is a completely different and hard task.

With all due respect, that would look really bad, cheap and make route planning non-existant. When tasing nes mega man games through all these years, all of us spent so much time planning the route within what an __original__ game offered. That's also paying tribute and respect to these games. Going for the psx version due to getting fast weapon switching really is a cheap move. This is also why you are unfortunately having a hard time getting your submission of Mega Man (psx version) accepted. The psx version offers nothing new. Though we have the vault category now. Glad though Pike is improving Mega Man 5 using the original version. Sorry for the long post but you know by now that I really dislike taking the easy way out. Good luck in the end to all participants.

Just wanted to say I am so thrilled someone from this site is finally picking this game up. Good luck man and I think it's safe to assume sonicpacker and co aren't or won't be working on this game for now. My bet is they are working on a new version of 0 star Mario64. I know sonicpacker has expressed interest working on Mario Galaxy. However, if he/they would team up, the more the merrier.
