If you seriously don't know about it, the dagger lightning trick with the Cyclops is a pretty well-known one: basically if you throw one when the lightning strikes, it'll cause the lightning to be conducted to him. Consider it an early makeshift item crash if you will.

Not as [!] as it would lead you to believe then? Works for me, neat run. Expected the game to be a lot worse overall, but I guess TASing it makes it look a lot better than it really is.

Aladdin was in fact my first SNES game, and also the only one for about a month or so, so I trekked it back and forth something like 50 times before I was able to play other SNES games. It's funny how I knew it like a back of my hand back then, and hardly remember today. Jeez, what a dumb game, anyway. :D
I think the fact that I was able to beat it in a single day despite never playing it before says something about its difficulty. The Genesis version is entirely different though as everyone here should know.

That's what the "hold key" function is for, you son of a silly person.

For Sonic, he should first crouch down for whatever reason, suddenly jump because Tails scares him or whatever, and then suddenly teleport through walls somewhere else.

"Who needs a table to stack dice?" You do, apparently, as you place them on one after picking them up from your leg.

"But this will add 1 minute and 1 second...this isn't a problem?" Would you rather have the game stuck at that screen when the video is encoded? No it's not a problem, now go and add those 2 final inputs.

We gave up on it when the idiot decided to charge a full game's price for what's essentially a program toy.

Headpunching fun over retarded dialogue that you might not even see to begin with if it's skipable, damnit.

You need to recheck the purpose of this site again, SDA is that way.

For a platformer, this one sure uses the "jump" button the least considering its lenght.

Another thing you should consired is whether the Japanese version is easier or harder, as the hero is different and has a different default weapon. Plus Ohdove is obviously supposed to be Hors d'œuvre.

Er, I'm not sure if there ARE any sound issues to begin with...I don't recall there being any music in the Bartzilla level to begin with when I tried sucking my way through the game on rental ages ago.

Yeah but in this case, increased difficulty just leads to overly lenghty enemy lifebars and it gets tiresome to watch.

Looks pretty nice so far although you should've used some more team-up attacks (especially the backhold kick) and shortcut powered up dash attacks (the ones performed with X, Y and Z that you'd normally need the stars for). Also you should've used the Japanese version mostly because of the original colors instead of the ugly changed ones and no retarded outfit censors. Also because Ash is funny.

Looks decent overall, although you could've varied basic and dashing combos around some, thrown in some d+attack jump attacks, possibly used supers on enemies with high health (the fatty before the screen with the alternative route on stage 2 seemed to be a particulary good spot, as you had a super ready and could've used it on him instead of doing the dash combo on him several times, same thing towards the end of the bridge section on stage 4) and backhopped more as that seems to be much faster overall than just plain dashing when done in rapid succession. Oh great, it's OoT all over again, except this time there won't be any "wtf I can't see where the hell you're supposed to be going this sucks" complaints. The use of thrown hammers was good though, although I don't understand why did you wait around that long at the end of stage 3 before you kill the enemy. It also seems to get better towards the end, what with faking out the enemies by backhopping through them and then comboing them from behind, so points for that.

No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. 328 rerecords? Tons of missed shots right from the beginning? Please. You're not even trying.
