I take it this has nothing to do with the Super Mario War found on http://www.classicgaming.com/tmk/sub-space/roms.shtml.

See, what's confusing about that is that you don't actually see Mega Man turn around for a frame. In other games, you do.

Oh, okay. I was also thinking you could make the Japanese run alongside the English run, but I guess just having savestates in the English version is fine.

Does the amount of text affect your luck? I was thinking that if it didn't affect it too terribly, then you could do a whole test run on the translation so you could know what was going on the whole time. Then the final run would be in Japanese. Or has this already been discussed?

His jump height increases when you run, right? How does that work?

I've almost gotten my plan for the rest of the game figured out. I'm still working on the perfect strategy for the boss teleporter room, and I haven't settled on certain strategies for some of the non-boss areas of the later Dr. Wily levels.

Do you think the problem is that it's scanning the entire contents of your computer rather than just the folder it's in?

Infinite damage loop? You mean you bypass the normal invulnerability period? Or is it that the whip normally becomes nonlethal after a short time? I'd better watch again.

I don't know, I haven't seen this in a while... I assume the game gets confused about who's taking what amount of damage somehow.

Well, is the fault in the ROM or the emulator? Or both?

Yeah, that was it. I assumed you used the J ROM. This movie is okay, but I think the ideal would be a run through all four games in a row. Is that possible?

I would have watched the movie, but it wouldn't work for me. It looked like the save state was too messed up to do anything. But maybe it's my computer, or maybe I used the wrong version of Gens (It's 9e, right?). When I try to start the game normally on this computer, it freezes at the copyright screen.

Yeah, Nintendo came up with some dumb excuse like, "Well this doesn't fit into this season's line-up!"

Well, you need to be pretty leveled up in order to wake up the dragon, right? And you probably want to have a lot of strength and spells for Giegue, too. I imagine you could fight a bunch of strong monsters for quick experience if you can manipulate them to never attack and get lots of good attacks on them. Hey, I just tried the Game Boy Advance version, and one big difference is that you don't move in squares anymore. You go a pixel at a time, just like in the sequel.
