The Gods thread gave me an idea... An award for the most deaths used in a timeattack?

Well, the game's mostly running, with a little jumping. It might be more interesting if Sonic could shoot missiles and turn into a glowing zebra and teleport into Never-Never-Land and um...

He'll probably have some random desync problem that nobody else has, and the Sonic movies will get published by someone else a month later.

I think so... What about FDS files, though? I think FDS save games might be written into the games themselves, but I'm not sure. (yeah sorry I'm getting off-topic, but I was curious)

I use screensavers so people won't see what I'm doing with my computer when I walk away from it!

Yeah, since TheAxeMan's holding B all the time to run, he has to release B to throw a fireball for it to register as a new button press, and that lowers his speed a tiny bit.

All right, now the first Dr. Wily stage is all done! http://www.filespace.org/BagOfMagicFood/Rockman_World_J.zip I'd better start planning the second one pretty soon. I don't want to run out of Carry energy!

Well, they aren't really random like that. I think the way it works is that there are four of them altogether, and each one is set to spawn a set distance to the right of MegaRockMan going in a set direction after it's been removed from the screen somewhere else. So it causes the annoying problem that the faster I destroy the Moles, the faster they reappear in my way again. That's why it's really valuable to take hits going forward, as it'll take the Moles an extra long time to finish drilling through the air and respawn in front of you as you casually run past. I was actually surprised this turned out so well--normally I have to stop and throw one more cutter before taking that second hit, and I have a devil of a time getting knocked onto the next platform rather than getting knocked backwards or knocked against the wall. So when I got one to knock me forwards just running along, I just accepted that, as it was about sixty frames faster than what I had been doing before, even if that jump at the beginning was a little too much. Okay, I just improved the FlashMan battle by 6 frames because I saw a few mistakes I made.

Jet? Debug mode? I think you've gotten this game confused with Wario Land 1. And why would you use debug mode, anyway? Isn't that cheating?

All right, here's FlashMan. http://www.filespace.org/BagOfMagicFood/Rockman_World_J.zip I'll probably do Enker tomorrow, though.

And QuickMan! http://www.filespace.org/BagOfMagicFood/Rockman_World_J.zip Just two more and I'll have this level done.

Now with HeatMan. http://www.filespace.org/BagOfMagicFood/Rockman_World_J.zip And yes, Ramond, FlashMan does fit QuickMan, but the Time Stopper is even slower at killing QuickMan than the Mega Buster.

But then they might get hard enough that you can't keep playing... So they aren't as never-ending...

But a never-ending game gives you infinite opportunity to get a bigger score to send in to Twin Galaxies!! ____________________________________

This game seems to have a completely different engine than other Mario games. Other games stop to show the powerup/powerdown animation, which loses time even when autoscrolling, but in this one Mario just keeps on going, transforming as he moves.
Super Mario Land 2 is like that too, isn't it? It reminds me of how Rockman World 2's engine seems very different from all the other Rockman Worlds, and it lets you pick up refills without stopping the game. And now I think those other files I got from IRC just got a little corrupted at the end because I downloaded them in a nonstandard way, not from any fault of yours.

It might not work if you just click on it, since Geocities can be tricky like that. Did you copying the link into the address bar, or right-clicking it and choosing something like Save Link Target As?
