Hey, I just thought I'd let everyone know that I updated http://www.filespace.org/BagOfMagicFood/Eggland_Meikyuu_no_Fukkatsu_J.fcm a while back. Now it covers all the levels up to releasing the third master. However, Nitrodon and I also went back and found a lot of improvements to earlier levels, so you'll probably have to watch it from the very beginning for it to work now.

Wow, really? So even though you had all the prizes from each character, you'd still have to do those events all over again just so the notebook could record them? And does the notebook have any effect on the scenes that appear in the ending, or is it just based on inventory?

Well, don't you have to bump into Lavos to start each phase of the first form? Although you have to walk through where his face was to reach the second form, MAYBE that entrance is already there, I don't know.

I have to admit I'm not really aware of what games require a microphone and what they require it for. Can you give me some examples? It might help me understand whether recording sound has any value at all for speedrunning.

Wait a minute. You said you played your 19.2 movie in 19.3. But did you try playing your 19.3 movie in 19.2? I don't remember if 19.3 changed the timing, but if it did, then maybe there was some backwards compatibility put into 19.3 so you can still play old movies in "19.2 mode". So if you can't get your version 19.3 movie to play in version 19.2, then that probably means there was a timing change, and if that's the case, why not do it in version 20 instead? On the other hand, if the 19.3 movie DOES work in 19.2, then maybe you should try just waiting out some of those 20 frames before the battle on the basis that saving time messed it up somehow.
