In my opinion, in Banjo-Kazooie, 100% should be all notes, jiggies, honeycomb pieces, and cheato books. Why the cheato books? Because they give access to more stuff (cheat codes).
So if we're not getting the last 40 Mumbo tokens, why are we getting the last 18 notes? They don't unlock anything besides the records of having them.

There's no point in collecting Cheato books.
Unless you activate them for extra eggs and feathers! That could be good!

Those are collectibles kept track of on the subscreen, in every level. in BK, it's just a matter of speaking with a book in 3 different places.
Regardless, the game still keeps track of them.

The world needs more Nevada Bob! Also, I remember you could get the heart piece with a picture of the Deku King.

Weren't there other things you could take pictures of to get that heart piece, though?

Then it's not a 100% run, but a 120-star run.

But notes and empty honeycombs are counted in the totals and one can easily find out if they've gotten all of them. Mumbo tokens just tell you how many you currently have.
Okay, then just remember that you should have 40 after buying all 5 transformations.

The mumbo tokens should only be collected as needed. Getting all of them wouldn't make the run any more interesting, and not getting them all adds to the strategy - which mumbo tokens are the quickest to get?
That sounds like an "any percent" type of strategy to me.

Don't forget games where the character moves in "squares". So once you start moving in one direction, the game will basically ignore your movement input until the character steps onto the next square fully. This means that you could get away with only pushing a button every 8 frames or whatever, but most people would find it easier to hold the button for all 8 frames.

Right, right, nothing wrong with using the secret characters for single player once you get them.

Dash in Down+B would be horrible. Mostly because it's nothing like slide.
But Kirby's Adventure lets you slide with Down+B! That's because B is for attacking stuff. Why doesn't Meggarmin's slide attack stuff?

This game starts with Rambo killing wasps and snakes, and moves up to him killing robots that shoot fireballs. Needless to say, this is exactly like the movie the game is based on.
I thought the movie was about how they sent the national guard to chase down one vagrant because it was a slow day!

Nope. We collect only these mumbo tokens what we need to.
Then it's not really 100%, and even less so if you skip buying a transformation.

I imagine that during the run-throughs, each character will simply kill themselves as quickly as possible during the bonus rounds, since you are going to go back and do them again later (I'd like to see "flying off the top" sacrifices). This is a factor in choosing characters to run-through with: who can kill themselves the quickest, or in the most interesting way?
Wouldn't it be better for your total time to get the bonus stage records when they're presented to you anyway rather than redoing them later?

I think we can all agree that Meggermanx One Through A Zillion is a debacle in the Meggerman series.

If you do a run where you don't collect all the notes, you should see if you can climb the termite tower without even entering it!

So is 3D space infinite, or is it wrapped around onto itself in the 4th dimension?
