Hm, I noticed that whenever people post a link to http://tasvideos.org/ in the video comments, a space creeps in just before the last s. Why do you suppose that is? And Bisqwit, I'm not so sure if a "no videos for you" policy is appropriate here. You could always flag a video as being a violation, yes, but maybe if you upload videos officially there, with that user group or whatever, it'll discourage people from reposting the cut videos because the uncut videos will be there plain to see.

Everyone, We were just talking a bit in the #nesvideos channel, and the following question came up: If you're a person who makes Fabians, what are you called? A Faber or a Fabber? Please respond with your thoughts, thanks. I'm leaning towards Faber at the moment but I could easily be convinced to go the other way.
Faber is a brand of pencils! Let's go with "Flabber".

Heh, Luke was saying in IRC how it's especially dumb that they store a whole uncompressed savestate in the movie file anyway, so you might as well have FCEU read from a zip file if you want compression.

Okay, try moving that file to some faraway folder and see what happens.

Have you played the game enough to be able to save? Where do you think the saved data goes?

Oh, well I was thinking the problem was that you already had a save file that had already chosen the language. Deleting that file doesn't fix it?

If you can find the saved data and delete it, it might give you the language option again. I read somewhere that a lot of European games are set to one language out of a few choices permanently just before shipping by loading the game and making a one-time choice. Or at least I think that's what they said... The method might vary.

Okay, I guess there's not a big enough difference for us to worry about that right now. But does anyone feel like actually altering the code so it'll record resets sometime soon? Is anyone familiar with it?

So it only has hard resets, right? How hard do you think it would be to program a realistic reset button effect?

Does Mupen 64 do a realistic soft reset, or is it always like hitting the switch off and on?
