This route is better.
Yeah, I already thought that was possible too... it was just a test. This might also be a good spot.

The "fourth" is very nice.
Yes, this will be useful at the Chargeman level. One more movie: Last one.

Really cool glitch FinalFighter!

Does it require a certain pixel position for the arrow, like Magnet Beam in Rockman 1?
If you place a super arrow too high at the screen, you can't stand on it... Megaman will jump like crazy on it, making it completely useless (I already knew this). FinalFighter (somehow) got the idea that you are able to slide on the arrow on top of the screen if you slide from another arrow. Sliding on the arrow will get you to the room below :) This means that I'll have to redo the Mega Man 5 TAS, since using this will obviously complete the game faster. I am currently working on other stuff though, which will come first. I might post a few movies which show where it might save time: Here's one. Another one. A third And a fourth It's possible at every spot where you can go down, and no ceiling is present, so it can only be used a few times.

I agree, we need a swordless speedrun, but this was a swordless walkthrough. I'm glad someone gave this a try, but I could write a book about the mistakes in this run. Next time, post your progress on the forums, so people can help you a little, and give you tips.

Vatchern's Rockman 3 movie also desyncs with FCEU 0.98.16 This might be troublesome when making the mm3456 run, since DeHackEd plans on encoding it, and he doesn't have 0.98.16...

Well... if you go to popcap.com you only see the deluxe version (at front page), so I didn't know there was a web version.

Err... the goal of virtually all movies here are to complete the game as fast as possible. If that weren't the case, you could easily make a single fcm that completes all nesgames.

Improving the second quest, or making a swordless movie sounds cooler... Either way, if this is made... it should make absolutely no sense.

Same for me, I only liked the RPG one (which I also completed by myself). I don't see any logic in the other ones, besides just trying stuff. The hammer game is ok too.

I'm getting the impression you submitted all these run to get the 1111th submission... but with that theory it wouldn't make sense that you submitted 2 (at this point) more movies. I can't say I watched this movie, but it's over 3 and a half minutes slower than FODA's submission. At least check if there are faster movies out there before submitting something.

I've completed the sixth level now :) I"ll have more time to work on it in two weeks, so I should be able to make some good progress then.

We go to the moon not because it is easy, but because it is hard.
Going to the moon at least looked kinda cool. This will look like someone isn't good at a game. Edit: Btw, doing a palindrome run for a slightly complex game like megaman, will be harder than going to the moon too.

Indeed, it sure brings back memories. Don't know if it's still fun to play, but I enjoyed it a lot as a kid. As for TASing this game... I don't think I'll ever vote yes to a movie made on this game. Like stated before, it's simply boring. However, I'm not voting no for this reason. The bosses (the only part where you can actually save time on a regular speedrun) were played very bad. It looked like they were played at 100% speed with very little rerecords. Therefor, voting no. (also, the rapid turning of the plain was annoying, since it messed up the sound).

I think the game wouldn't have escalated if the referee had shown Bouhlarouz the red card in the 8th minute.
Perhaps, but you could say the same for Figo after hitting his head into another player. If he had gotten red for that, the first red card for the netherlands wouldn't have been given, since it was given because of Figo's acting.

Hmz, to bad the Netherlands lost... I guess Guus Hiddink has to do it now. 16 yellow cards in one match... that has to be some kind of record :P

When watching the dual avi, I notice I'm only watching the camhack movie... to me it's far more entertaining.
