Magic flare is my favorite spell, though I don't remember why. You might also want to experiment with the bomb spell, as you could probably move your character around and stack the bombs on top of each other, doing a lot of damage fast. Flames would be similar, but late game and very gem hungry. I wouldn't think that spells like fireball and light arrow would be ideal in most circumstances, since I don't think they're too powerful and when there's more than one monster on the screen you can often manipulate them to be close enough that spells like magic flare can attack both of them.

Faaaaaantastic. Absolutely astounding. Can't say I blame him for wanting to take a break, after being picked at for a year to continue.

But doesn't that remove your hyper lasers? Or if not, does it use an extra life which I think adds extra points at the end of the game?

This has been on my want list for awhile, and I think it looks good. I think the quality later on is higher, as I don't see you hitting unnecessary enemies as you tend to in the level 1 stages. I was also wondering if you can ascend vertical corridors faster, by jumping like in ninja gaiden. This would especially come in handy on one of the last stages.

Is the red spray paint can just another can? I've seen the sword and axe before... they're just two other hammers.

I really wish there was some permanence to this stuff, so we could really build like, an entire cathedral of sprites. Would anyone be interested in hosting one for days? heh.

Though there's apparently a mod which incorporates weapon damage.

Man that was fun. I built outside the window, and made a stairway so far and so high that when you turned around the house was out of view. I was just getting to making a palace at the very end when the server timed out. I'm pissed.

Didn't see TSA's post. I'd do it if I had a save file nearby the area...

http://users.ign.com/collection/Blechy I haven't updated it in awhile, but that's all the games I used to own. I just download roms in a case by case basis, when I want to play one. I sort of try not to download ones I never owned. I have 160 NES roms, while according to that page I owned 214 carts. So I owned many more carts than I have roms- the numbers would be even more different as systems get newer.

Changed the title, I think this is what you meant by "Midnight Residence", it's the only game which resembles it in GoodGen. However, it's not 2 player. But it might look good nonetheless. It's sort of like a clunky Contra.

Silly me. Was so eager to play the game that I didn't even think to read it a second time. Anyway, this game is still awesome.

Very awesome game. If only I could read it to see what was going on. Also, I haven't played it long, but I collect many of those triangles which upgrade my weapon, then in a couple minutes I look and it's back to having no experience. What's that all about?

What do you mean by personality? And given those coordinates, are you able to know where they are visually, so as to answer the question whether or not the circle can be tighter?

I think a speed-run of this game would be pretty pointless... but again, a high scoring game on the other hand would look amazing.

Bisqwit can you please combine the Link's Awakening threads? There are now three of them. Exciting though- I'm about to download it.

Haven't finished watching the run on SDA yet, but entertaining so far. The fights in part 10 are especially awesome to watch(though why does he buy arrows from beedle when he could get them from the orbs the darknuts drop? And he seems remarkably inaccurate when facing the cyclone chap, I forget his name). They'd look even more incredible when tool-assisted, though pretty much impossible to perfect.

But I think VBA should be 100% perfected first and foremost, personally.

But not because of play quality, but game choice. Both have the same appeal: being absolutely terrible games. I think only so much enjoyment can be had out of that.
