Please name any ways in which the original Puyo Puyo (or the skins for it, Kirby's Avalance & Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine) is superior to Puyo Puyo Tsuu.

I'd love to see a run of this game either in the normal story mode (ending in Masked Satan, I'd think, unless it can be managed to get less than 180,000 EXP before the end) OR in the 33-battle challenge mode. If need be I can try it myself, as puzzle games don't really take that long to play well (if not optimally)... but I really don't have much time for games and I still need to work on FF5 if I'm going to be recording stuff. So....

Here's a second idea, as an alternative to my already-suggested "Demonstrations" and "Tool-Assisted Demonstrations". We have "single-segment" and "multi-segment" runs, right? And the difference is that a multi-segment run is re-recorded, but only at specific points (usually savepoints or the beginnings of levels, etc). What we do here is a form of multi-segment run, but with no restrictions regarding the number of segments or where they can be. So the obvious solution is to call them "infinite-segment" runs. Boon: "Infinite-Segment" can describe runs that aren't time attacks. You can just as easily have an infinite-segment score attack, an infinite-segment aesthetic form, an infinite-segment glitch demonstration, etc. Bane: Those unfamiliar with the SS/MS distinction will be similarly confused by the term IS. But this should not be too much of a problem.

I also readed somewhere that the recording should be stoped as soon as possible if no more input is necessary to reach the goal.
I think the better option is that recording should be stopped as soon as it is no longer possible for further input to avoid the goal.

We can have it both ways. Just say in the submission whether the movie uses opposite directions simultaneously (which possible on an unmodified Famicom by using a joystick and the original controller simultaneously). If it changes the game really that much, someone can make a run without it to show how much it changes.

In our case, there isn't agreement that a 'tool-assisted' speedrun is really a type of speedrun. I say that it's a different type of thing that deserves a new term.
So call it a demonstration or a tools-assisted demo.

Does that mean Mega Man and MegaMan are two different people?
Yes, actually. With the space it refers to Rock (original series), without it refers to Site (EXE series). The Japanese names of course do not have spaces so they're differentiated by Rockman and Rockman.exe.

It's a little expensive, and it's only one volume of the first season, I can't imagine it's all 65 episodes. Anyway what I really want (Thundercats-wise) is the second season, so...

No excuses can be made for Gigabolt Dokragen, but what's not to like about Icesnow Yetinger? And how can you say "3D levels suck" and then turn around and like X7 at all?

...wait. So all of us saying your opinion was invalid about X7 made you rebalance your scores, but you still rank X8 so low without having given any reasons? It seems strange to me that you would change the scores rather than attempt to justify them.

Now Rush is a real bother. Not only does he lose his abilities, but even in MM3 where he first appeared, it was the enemies who had the adaptors. Did Rush work for the enemies at some point? Is he a stray that Dr. Light fixed up?
Wily built Rush, and Right & Wily both built the RMs that you fight in 3... whatever the connection is, I don't know, but there you have it. (the plot of 3 has Wily repenting and joining Right to work together to build Gamma.. which he then steals. In case you didn't read the manual / play the Complete Works version).

His imagination. Note how he rates X7 higher than X5.. or rather, I should say, he rates X7 higher than other games on the list.

There is already a walktrhough that uses the select trick to move between ruins and cut out a majority of the game.

I doubt this would be true, because X starts with the falcon armor in X6.
It was made around X3 if I remember correctly. Anyway the carryover armors in X5 and X6 are Alia's doing.

Also, X needs to explain why he doesn't always keep the armor(s) from the previous game.
According to the manga (and, apparently, X5) the armors are destroyed during the battles with Sgma. Err, I know where to get sound effects from Bionic Commando and I'm sure you can find NSF rips that haven't been edited so the sound effects are inaccessable..

You really, really aren't missing anything there. Oh god that game was horrible Its only redeeming quality was using Quint as a main character, and even that was screwed up by it being a BANDAI game (and set in 200x, what?)

One "worst" category should exist.. "most improvable movie", with the prize being someone improves it.

(I haven't watched the movie) It seems to me that Monk is a poor choice as his damage is dependent on level. Rather, Thief who gets a hit% bonus or Fighter who can wield any weapon would be better. But having Back mages who can spam Temper & Haste is nice, provided they're high enough level to cast it.

Did they remove one of the Blood Swords in the GBA version? You used to be able to get it once you could enter the castle at Fynn.
