Gyakuten Saiban is being translated? Wow. ("Comeback Courtroom" is a kind of lame title, though.. why not "Reverse Judgement"?) Is it the whole series or just part 3? Anyway, I don't know much about the series except that it's supposed to be very good, and as a CAPCOM fan I was going to eventually buy it anyway. EDIT: The pun of "Naruhodo" is untranslatable? Why not call him I.C. something?

I prefer to run Japanese versions.

Tried asking? And anyway any final version of that will have commentary (probably in subtitles).

But does that mean you're not gonna do world 2 after world 1, even if you get strategic help?
Depending on the strategy for the bosses of the 2nd world the end of the 1st needs to be done differently. I can keep going if you really want me to but doing the 2nd world chained off of my video instead of from hacked savestates would take a while.

I'm guessing Sandara (Thunder2) or Ramuh work well against the cannons. [...] In any case, ArchaeoAvis' second form is Lv. 20. Lv. 5 Death will kill him.
Too expensive, time and MP-wise. For lightning-element attacks I'd be using rods or jutsu, not magic or summons. ArchaeoAvis's 5th form is level 20. I need to do four sets of 1600 damage first (and the damage doesn't overflow from one to the next).

Sol Cannon is Heavy so Death Claw won't work. And you conveniently skipped over the other cannons.. :-þ

samurai goroh: Do you guys have strats for every boss? Not yet. I'm only doing the first world.. and I don't know the best way to handle the cannons (just raijin no jutsu?) or ArchaeoAvis. hidden path Already been pointed out (Omega, bottom of page 4 @ 15 posts per), but thanks. fight before entering the North Mountain Level 3, for Galura, more Goblin Punching. it looks more like a fast video than a LLG one It is. Omega: When are we gonna see an update? After I can work on it. (other people are welcome to use my video as a start and do a bit more of it and post it, I don't mind.. this is a proof-of-concept / strategy vid, not the final version) I'm on vacation until the Epiphany anyway, maybe a bit after that. I trust that he'll find THE FASTEST way to finish it That's what the point of this video is, to find a good strategy. I'm making all the mistakes now so whoever does the final version knows exactly what to do to be fast. But I won't be fastest even after remaking it (if I do do the final version), there's always a way to improve. I'm genuinely sorry if that's true Don't be. It's not your fault that English has no good gender-neutral :-þ

Why there is a save in the third slot, maybe I can figure it out. ^_^
Movies started from reset contain SRAM instead of a savestate, because contents of SRAM might alter playback. Because rules here forbid starting from a savestate but allow SRAM to have any contents (as long as a new game is started), it's fine.

You need Capacity to change jobs, there's no level restrictions (that I'm aware of). Capacity is awarded on a per-battle basis, like ABP in 5 or similar.

No, Seiken Densetsu became Final Fantasy Adventure. But as it's an FF spinoff (or, to be entirely accurate, FF is a SD spinoff (there's a long story about that)) the title is accurate. Not so for SaGa.

Oh? They're not Heavy so I can just use Death Claw. Besides, they are all immune to lightning, one absorbs fire, one absorbs water, and one absorbs earth.

Different name, storyline, and characters in Japan. Sorry. It was retitled "Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight" in the US for the same reason the SaGa games were retitled "Final Fantasy Legend".

It was a wrong guess. There is no slowdown (that I know) from having existing savedata. By the way, you really are an amazing artist! It's very hard to make videos of this quality, much less this quickly.

..the problem being you need 99 of one item in order to change item types. Fortunately if you have the Sight spell you can dupe magic and sell it to buy the 99 Potions or whatever you need. EDIT: and it would take quite a long time to get Onion Sword. Something like 30 battles.

Actually, as long as you're breaking the game, you should do that as soon as possible. Use the duplication glitch to get a full set of Onion equips shortly after (or during if you can) the first dungeon, then just piledrive through everything.

No, they are auto-hit and ignore-defense so they can't crit (and are unaffected by morph / berserk / facing / enemy row / etc).

~~の術 is a hit-all Ninja technique of one of four elements that does damage of about 2/3 of breaking a rod (~1000 damage to a weakness) but costs 200 gil instead of 700. And Ninja are faster than Mages. !Hanatsu + Sandbear deals approx. 2500 physical damage per use, but I need to find a Sandbear to use it so it might not be the best method (though catching them for easy early-2nd-world boss fights would be nice).

Boss breakdown: 01. Wingraptor. If he guards (his 3rd action), for the next three rounds he counters all attacks. This is the same as the intro boss in almost every FF. Here he dies before guarding. 02. Karlaboth is weak vs Thunder, so he dies in 6 casts of it. 03. Siren is level 2, as are Butz and Galuf, who kill her with two Goblin Punches apiece. 04. Magisa dies to a single cast of Blizzaga. Luckily there was an Ice Rod in Karwen. 05. Galura is level 3, but has an extremely high Speed and counters almost every attack. So Butz, Lenna, and Galuf can do damage with Goblin Punch, but Faris's action must be using a Whip to stun him. Because of this, Faris needs to temporarily change Jobs to Suppin. 06. Liquid Flame is weak to Ice in two of his three shapes, so he dies in two casts of Blizzaga. Ice Rods are sold in Karnak (the first for 185 gil and others afterwards for 700 gil). 07. Iron Claw only appears after the three Karnaks are dead. A multitarget Blizzaga does nicely. Then, some luck manipulation to learn Death Claw, and another Blizzaga finishes him off. 08. Ifrit is weak vs Ice, to two casts of Blizzaga (more or less) should finish him off. 09. Byblos is not a type-Heavy monster, so Death Claw can cut him to single-digit HP. 10. Sandworm falls to 3x 水遁の術. 11. Clay Claw falls to 2x 雷神の術. 12. Adamantoise falls to L5 Death. After this I'm unsure of the best strategies. The cannons can die to about 20 total 雷神の術 and some of them also to L5 Death. ArchaeoAvis will fall to !Hanatsu + Sandbear (or a few 水遁の術) and (after 6400 damage) to L5 Death. Of the three meteors, Pyroboros dies to 水遁の術, Titan dies to !Hanatsu + Sandbear (but one party member needs Float), and Chimaera Brain dies to Death Claw.

Why would that be?
L5 Death kills everyone in the target party with a level divisible by 5.
Bisqwit wrote:
And why needed Butz be kept at level 2 earlier?
Siren is level 2. Using Goblin Punch on a person of equal level does 8 times normal damage (16 times because I'm in the back row).
