Yes, but you get the summon the second time you kill him. The first time you only get gil (so the storyline says you're supposed to run away, which takes much much less time to do).

WHY did they make so u can fight with ALL ARMORS and stuff? What are you talking about? it is impossible to die with megaman (armored) I should hope so, since that character isn't even in this game. I know this game can be donequick very fast. Sure. Beat the intro stage, fire the Enigma, then go through the Sigma levels. Less than 15 minutes. X5 is probably the easiest game in the series.. and X6 is probably the hardest. But X8 looks like it will dethrone X6.

You would also need to stop to level every time you got a spell you were going to use later. And levelling HP/MP and other stats is a very, VERY slow process.. you have to end a battle for every levelup there.

It's quite a bit of work, but I still want to see it done eventually. I'm just too lazy to do it unless it's to avoid something else that I have to do, especially since my idea of single-level competitions with and without rerecord seems to not have caught on at all.

Broken it is, but you'd still need to sit there and cancel your attack 500 times for it to be effective. And you'd still have no STR or HP.

Killing Bahamut is possible but all it gives you is a shit-ton of Gil, which is mostly worthless in this game. It's better to just run from the fight like you're supposed to. I don't think this game can be completed quickly, or 2 either. But 1 can definitely be completed quickly..

If you're losing speed on menus, frame-by-frame it or edit the movie file with a hex editor.

Well, of course the final product will have the red pattern of triangles / fire / diamonds. I jut don't know what kind of robe is best. It seems most people like the circular design.. so I'll probably go with that. It's simplest, too.

The last one (the open robe) is used in Tactics Advance: http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/ffta/art/whitemage2.jpg ..and also for some of the White Mages in 5. Actually, the rerelease (Wonderswan Color / PSX / GBA) FF1 uses a plain robe without belled sleeves, like in the design work for 9 (which I'd need to upload somewhere). http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/ff1/propaganda/ff1-2001.jpg ..but the circular robe was revived for Tactics: http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/fft/graphics/jobs/priest.jpg

What is everyone's favorite style of White Mage, excluding the overly-complicated FFX-2 design? I'm piecing together bits and pieces of material I can use to cosplay various Jobs.. right now I'm looking for a good robe for a White Mage.. but what kind of robe should I use? plain robe w/ red cowel, like in 11/TA: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5525109258&fromMakeTrack=true I like this one right now because the cowel can double for a Red Mage's, which is basically half of the costume (the cape is easy to find, the other hard piece would be the hat). robe with belled sleeves, like in 3/5/T: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5328126982&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT a circular robe with no sleeves, like in 1/T: http://www.kekkai.org/andrea/art/cosplay/whitemage.shtml a white cloak (3,9) or open robe (5, TA) over a tunic or underdress, like in 3/5/9/TA: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5526046639&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT or http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5525295226&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT If you need reference artwork for the various canon White Mage designs I can post that too.

Good job! There's another warp trick that involves making the disk read from the wrong place, letting you set your coordinates to whatever you want, but that might just be silly and unfair (similar to just using a password for Wily levels or something). Going to do the other two Eggerland games that are attackable? One for FDS and one for Fam.

It's not offensive, it's just idiotic and makes an assumption that homosexuals don't actually exist.

Phil, why? Being able to restock all the best items takes all the challenge out of the game, kind of like getting 256 Illuminas off the Relm Sketch Glitch in FF6. I didn't use the duplication glitch in my FF4 solo games, BTW.
Sketch Glitch is being exploited in a run of 6 as well. We aren't making these videos to be challenged. We're making these videos to show the limits of the game, as it was programmed. Exploiting glitches is one way to show that the limits perceived are not always the limits coded.

Also, listen to REM's All the Right Friends, then to Elecman's theme. Same melody, same key, same progression..
