I really enjoyed this run, especially the "ground" half of World 5 (oh, I died, screw that level JUGEM'S CLOUD! oh I died again. oh well I'll just do THIS OTHER LEVEL) and of course the autoscroller with one shell in 6. Like some other people in the thread I really prefer the NES version's graphics and sound.. but it was still fine. But.. you didn't jump for any of the wands.. ;_; Okay, for one sure, and for one ou were underground. But the others you just let land on you.... (also the autoscrolling tank levels were ultra boring after so many of the autoscrolling airships...) Yes vote anway.

Yeah, according to comments in the cardboard box where I found it it's from Tales of Phantasia and also New Rally X... The video that was remove for ToS violation (why?) was Miku singing FF6's final boss theme "Dancing Mad" using the word "banana". It was really really well done.

I dunno, Contra 4 seems to emulate fine. Probably the problem, if there is one, is lack of recording and lack of good tools (like recordings that stay in sync). I also remember Rockman ZX superplays made in slow motion, so...

That's a list of commands. When you run the program (on the command line - you're using WinXP so do Start -> Run -> "cmd" and then navigate to where you have GoodGBA) you have to give it commands in the same line you tell it to run. So if you wanted it to scan all the ROMs you have in D:\Emu\GBA\ROMs then you'd write "GoodGBA scan D:\Emu\GBA\ROMs" and it'd do the rest. If you wanted it to rename all your files without destroing information, you'd use "rename" instead of "scan", and if you didn't care about what they werenamed before you'd use "inplace", etc.

according to wikipedia audible sound is between 20Hz and 20kHz.
The selfsame article also calls sound a "compression wave", a kind of longitudinal wave (a wave in which the "waveness" is in the same direction as the motion), while electromagnetic radiation is a transverse wave (a wave in which the "waveness" is not in the direction of motion). Why believe some but not all of the article? If one part is wrong, surely the rest is as well? Also, could you stop posting? Like, at all? Please?

Don't even bother. That poster isn't interested in silly things like "truth" or "making sense".

The answer should be an equation.
n-choose-k is equal to n factorial divided by the product of k factorial and the factorial of the difference. It is often written (shorthand) nCk. Because, as I outlined earlier, there is and can be only one winning ticket, you must buy all the tickets, that is, nCk tickets (for k draws from a set of n symbols).

3. A state lottery drawing involves picking X numbers out of a pool of Y numbers. Each number can only be picked once per drawing. A lottery ticket contains X numbers. A contestant wins if all X of the numbers on his ticket were drawn in any order. How many tickets must be purchased in order to guarantee winning the lottery?
All of them, after removing duplicate tickets, since the number of draws and the number of symbols on the ticket is the same number (so there is only one winning ticket).

galaxies also travel faster than light.
This is not actually true. The galaxy isn't moving that fast, it's just that there's more space between us and it. Imagine a balloon with marker dots on it, and ou blow up the balloon... the dots get further away fom each other even though they're not moving. Galaxies are moving sure, but that's not why they're receeding relative to our light cone.

You know you are a bad poster when you cut-and-paste pages and pages of text from another website without instead just linking there.

I must agree, Batman is a pretty good superhero. I think it's because he's not invincible. Since this is "explain your signature". I stole the two halves of my signature from two places. The first is a quote of a quote from someone's online journal back before Liejournal was popular, like in 1997 or somewhen around there, it's pretty self-explanatory. The second is from an amazing fan video made in late 2001 by AC-Promenade about "What if River City Ransom was remade?" which eventually culminated in rereleases and ports of the best Kunio titles to GBA (and that video was totally awesome.. it's here on Youtube).

He should be back in a month or so (depending on how exact the whole "two years" thing is) - he left the forums a month earlier than his actual departure. I wonder if he still remembers any of us?

I meant baptism, the event, not baptist, the sect. I was just wondering what you believed the ciriteria for "true born-again christians" were, since you said they were "by the definitions of Bible itself" but in my experience they're set by creeds and churches which are extra-Biblical tradition. Edit: And, again, to reinforce that parenthetical statement, I'm asking out of curiosity, not as an attack or argument. I don't know many Christians from Europe, and in America there's a lot of cultural baggage associated with the different sects and movements which probably colors my perception.

Look into the "Mysterious Dungeon" series. There are multiple games for it on PSX, PS2, and DS. There's also Hellgate London, a new game by the makers of Diablo II, that is free to play both online adn offline, though a subscription fee unlocks bonus content (and you still have to pay $50 or whatever for the retail copy of the game). A friend of mine was beta testing it and he thinks it's pretty good, but I was turned off because when he showed it to me he was playing a ranged combat class, and ranged classes play like a FPS rather than like Diablo (though melee classes apparently play like Diablo, so).

I agree, $15k seems low for something like that. But selling something as a collection rather than selling the expensive / rare stuff and dumping the rest will get you a reduction in value of about that. I don't think anyone wants to pay more for that (and I don't think anyone will pay more than $10k if he doesn't split it up).

you should be able to make it so each bit state represents the location of a single pixel.
The location of each pixel is given by the order of the file. If my image format was left-to-right top-to-bottom and I was describing a tiny 2x2 picture in 24 bit color I could say 000000888888CCCCCCFFFFFF and have that be the picture. I don't need to specify which pixel is the black one because the order already specifies the location. Anywa, you should try actually reading what people have told you rather than making up stuff.
