That's the kind of thing you'd hear in a fighting game, not really a horror game.. I was thinking female speech. It's easy to understand things when they're spoken or in context, but Japanese and English most definitely do not have a 1:1 correspondence.
I still think of "kuru na" as "I'll be there" unless it's being shouted and part of a much longer statement.

I think the font you're transcribing this from is hard to read. Like the "aiai" thing is supposed to be "oioi", and now you have "shinjiku-to" and "assan" instead of "shinjike-to" and "ossan".
"ossan" is something street punks call 40-year-old guys when they're too lazy to say "ojisan" before they beat them up and take their money. I don't know English slang well so I don't know what it would be. Fogie?

(by the way, the third thing I did, back in my first post, its meaning can change with context or emphasis. Like it could be "got there (and no further, because I'm going to kill them)" or like I have it now, "got there (but I didn't expect it, really)". And he could also be talking about people he likes rather than people he (yatsu = one step politer than yarou) doesn't so it might just be "those guys" or "you guys" instead of "those bastards".)

If you are going to do a proper translation, you should attempt to make sure the final product is unstilted and ordered more normally. I suspect Japanese is a language where sentences are often started with indicators of what the sentence is to be about, which results in repetition and excessive use of the passive voice in English.
Feel free to correct my translations, then. I am not very good in writing things or sounding natural in any language. It's difficult for me to communicate exactly what I mean.

If that is your opinion of the bible you have maybe not read enough of it or the right parts of it. It assumes that you already have the faith from oral tradition. It merely teaches you what to do about it. If the bible's purpose was "to get you faith in God", why is conversion frowned upon in Judaism, for example, and why does witnessing in Christianity involve extra-biblical information?
Anyway, Qohelet assumes Judaism to be true, but none of it is preachy. It's just "this is the way it is and this is what that means". Jewish philosophy assumes God but is generally very similar to Buddhism which does not assume God.
Besides, what does it matter the source of wisdom if it can be shown that such wisdom is accurate?

The point of that particular passage is "Even if you know everything you won't be able to solve every problem - you'll just be more aware of how bad the situation is." Knowledge for the sake of knowledge is not a bad thing. But it does not relate to success, or happiness, or meaning in any way.
It doesn't say or mean "You're too dumb to figure it out so stop trying" so you should read the whole thing. The book is about a king who had everything you could ever think of and still wasn't satisfied, and what he tries to fix that, and what he learns from those experiences.

No, like.. the point of mapping the levels is to see what the different Monster Lairs do. Most of them change the map by removing walls or making bridges or stuff like that. So I wanted it so you could turn on or off the effects of any Monster Lair and see how the map would change.

I disagree with #1 and #3. A fighting game need not involve damage.
For example, there's a mode in Soul Caliber that is ring-out only. Karate Champ is point-based. There are wrestling games without lifebars. Etc.

Anyway, Qohelet answers all the arguements for nihilism and hedonism and other philosophies in a way that satisfies me, so I read that every once in a while. It's my favorite book, actually.

I reject this philosophy because I recognise a very specific purpose for the current mode of existance as a link in the continuous creation process ordained by God.
I agree that there is no objective good or evil. I disagree that there is no god, and that pleasing or serving God is not a worthwhile end to itself.
God may have created both good and evil (or what we know as them) for his own purposes, but that does not mean it's just as beneficial to be at odds with his will.
