This is one of my favorite games ever, and it's one I suggested be run a few years ago, but it's not actually that fun to watch, is it? Thanks for showing off Solid Arm. Most people miss that part of the game so it's nice to see such a well-done movie include him. Vote: no to the question, yes to publish. EDIT: [20:13:51] <Halamantariel> well... Boco reads :) [20:14:12] <Halamantariel> Vote: no to the question, yes to publish. [20:14:33] <Boco_XLVII> It's a very good run [20:14:50] <Boco_XLVII> I was surprised at how boring a perfect play was to watch, though. [20:15:22] <Halamantariel> it hurts my stats though .... YES 93.3% and NO 6.7% :S [20:15:27] <Halamantariel> goodbye, perfect score :) [20:15:41] <Boco_XLVII> I guess I'm just used to the fighting and exploring in that game that a run which does neither is just.. running for 15 minutes, then a boss fight, repeat.

If you have a video you want to share in the emulator's native movie format, you can put it on microstorage: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php

Note that the trick under discussion in this thread doesn't involve playing SMK two playered, just using the 2nd controller during the start up screen to make Player 1 begin one place higher in the first race of each cup. I'm not sure if it's a cheat or a glitch, or a glitched-cheat (the cheat is actually meant to swap player 1 and 2, but player 2 hasn't pressed start so it actually just starts player 1 one place ahead in the first track of the cup).
There is no second player using this glitch. There is a second controller, but only one player plays the race. (the bottom split-screen is map).

Umm.... I looked through your YouTube videos to find it, but. What you call "DX 3" is just plain Rockman X3 GBC pirate. I already own this game and its sequel on GBA. I was looking for information about the game at 14 seconds in your Wheel Alligates video.

I didn't recognise one of the Rockman pirate games you showed off in your intro. What was the first GBC looking one? Not X3 Megadrive or X3 GBC but the one at ~14 seconds? (if it's just a crappy homebrew game, then I don't know why it's there, but if it's a pirate game, please tell me more!)

INFJ, 100 12 25 33 "The Counselor Idealists are abstract in thought and speech, cooperative in reaching their goals, and enterprising and attentive in their interpersonal roles. Counselors focus on human potentials, think in terms of ethical values, and come easily to decisions. The small number of this type (little more than 2 percent) is regrettable, since Counselors have an unusually strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others and genuinely enjoy helping their companions. Although Counsleors tend to be private, sensitive people, and are not generally visible leaders, they nevertheless work quite intensely with those close to them, quietly exerting their influence behind the scenes with their families, friends, and colleagues. This type has great depth of personality; they are themselves complicated, and can understand and deal with complex issues and people." http://keirsey.com/personality/nfij.html

A common misconception about the GameCube optical drive is that it spins the discs in reverse (counter-clockwise) compared to regular DVD-ROM drives. The peculiarity of this rumor is that one need only open the disc tray on an operating GameCube to see that the disc clearly spins clockwise as it slows to a halt.
But it's true that the laser goes in the opposite diretion as expected (outside-in rather than inside-out) and the discs themselves have a special format. But shouldn't drivers be able to handle those differences? Anyway even if you can't read the disc directly you can still get the data off it using Phantasy Star Online and a network adaptor.

...from the copy of the game you legally own on disc? Doesn't the GCN use some proprietary DVD-like format that a DVD player can read with the right software or whatever? So PSX, PS2, GCN games all can be played.

Like I was posting in the other avatar thread, I made about a dozen or two of these... here are a few. I waste a lot of time getting colors right, but I'm on a laptop usually so the colors are different with different angles anyway, so don't look too closely OK?

What? This piece of crap should NEVER have been allowed to be called an FF game.
My circle of friends actually call it "Friends of Mana" because we think it fits more into the Seiken Densetsu series. But it's still a fun game.

I decided to list the N64 games and GCN games I like. N64 Tier 1 (actually good games): Bangaioh, Rockman DASH (non-exclusive), Mischief Makers, Mario 64, Paper Mario, Pokemon de Panepon, Puyo Puyo Sun (non-exclusive), Star Fox 64, Smash Brothers. Tier 2 (good games in comparison): F-Zero X, Goemon 1 and 2, Goldeneye, Jet Force Gemini, Kirby 64, Zelda 5 & 5.5, Ogre Battle 64 GCN Animal Crossing, Baten Kaitos, Capcom vs SNK 2 (non-exclusive), Chibi Robo, F-Zero GX, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Ikaruga (non-exclusive), Zelda Four Swords, Zelda Wind Waker, MK Double Dash, Rockman EXE Transmission, Rockman X Command Mission (non-exclusive), Paper Mario 2, Puyo Puyo 5 (non-exclusive), the entire Biohazard series (we'll count it as one game that's kind of okay), Skies of Arcadia (non-exclusive), Sonic Mega Collection (non-exclusive), SoCal 2 (non-exclusive), Monkey Ball 1 & 2 (originally exclusive), Smash Bros 2, Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2 (originally exclusive), Wario World, Wario Ware So yeah, there are some good N64 games... but I still don't like the system. Anyway. I'll not derail this thread anymore.
