I have a sprite comic :4( but it hasn't been updated in, like, a year. Although I've been told I'm funnier than Bob & George. In fact, I make it a rule to never write a comic about how bad the comic is, whereas B&G used that as a main source for "humor." Now Rush is a real bother. Not only does he lose his abilities, but even in MM3 where he first appeared, it was the enemies who had the adaptors. Did Rush work for the enemies at some point? Is he a stray that Dr. Light fixed up? While we're talking about Dr. Light, why doesn't he make more robots like Mega Man? If there were two or three heroes, maybe they could've stopped Wily from escaping in MM7. Then the villain would have to be someone more powerful, and we'd get a cool game with multiple characters to choose from (Mega Man & Bass was a good start, but let's keep going).

I don't know about the select glitch. I mean, yeah I want to see Samus opening extradimensional gateways to go wherever she wants, but I don't like runs that cut out the majority of the gameplay. i.e. Rygar, Link to the Past, and Circle of the Moon. EDIT: made the above comment somehow without reading Zoizite's. If you still kill forty-some Metroids, then there's still enough action even if you use the select glitch.

Yeah, buster-only runs are more fun to play than they are to watch. I had this one friend who trained himself to play Mega Man 3 on a Play Choice 10 machine using one hand. That was pretty interesting to watch.

What about the impossibility of completing the game? Wily level 4 in MM2 can't be beaten without Crash Man's weapon.

Maybe Capcom gets rid of the weapons because if you didn't have to defeat the new bosses to get their weapons it wouldn't be a Mega Man game. Just a hunch.

So... you just use the red potion at strange times and it glitches things? How does this turn into a theory about killing Ganon?

...I'm lost. What is this red potion glitch? And if it can kill Ganon, does it make a swordless run possible?

Kudos for the first GBA run to be published! And a Metroid game no less.

Dude, what the hell? One day, a long time ago, a friend and I were channel surfing. We had been up so late that it was morning, and we flipped to an episode of Sesame Street. On that episode, in our delirium, we saw Cookie Monster painting a picture of a cookie. My friend said, "he's going to eat the painting at the end," and I quickly agreed with him. And yes, Cookie Monster ate a painting of a cookie. What threw both of us off is that he also went so far as to eat his palette. Neither of us expected that. Cookie Monster is just a raving lunatic with a fetish for cookies. Kids like that because it reminds them of the kind of psychos they meet in every day life. And my favorite character was Oscar the Grouch. Why don't they promote children's health by having Oscar make fun of all the fat kids? Then they can do a counting calories song. Hey, I'm starting to have fun with this...

Yeah, Capcom City seems legit to me. Privacy statement and everything. But nobody loves a good April 1st joke like people on the internet. Has me paranoid.

Well, I don't know why these things never hit me until late in the afternoon, but there's always a chance of an elaborate prank. I only say that because magicthegathering.com had a false premium membership you could sign up for.

Capcom's created a new website dedicated to everything Capcom (how modest!). I think this will be an improvement over the previous Capcom communities, and hopefully get Capcom more savvy on what the players think. The site has this weird "ammo" thing going on, where you earn points for doing stuff. I don't know if there's a point to this, other than "look, I'm on a top ten list!" They also give tasks, which I know nothing about because the site has just started. Anyway, there's a lot of Mega Man fans around here, so I thought I'd spread the word. http://www.capcomcity.com

The Scorch Wheel has got to be the most brain-dead conversation. "The Scorch Wheel creates a... uh... burning wheel... doesn't it?" "Yes! And it... uh... hm, what does fire do again... oh yeah! And it will burn the things it touches."

Mega Man really should learn how to jump higher. Dr. Light might have to pull another ace out of his sleeve to let him..
Dr. Light's idea of an "ace out of his sleeve" is apparently giving his creation a robot dog with a springboard in its back. Putting the springs in the creation itself? Bah, that's the work of a mad scientist. That's why we have Spring Man.

86, 86, 87, 77 I'm a little confused how this scoring system works. If there's 10 questions for each section, how can the percentages be anything other than multiples of ten? On expert questions, I did better than 72% of people my age and gender. That is so true. Must be why I don't talk to many people. And these are the ones that know how to use a computer.

Maybe I'm just a fan of seeing robots shoot things, but I like this game.

Yeah, I don't mean to criticize the system, it's just that there's a lot of games that've been in the workbench for a long time that I want to see published. It's frustrating is all.

I'm bothered that games like these get published while not-as-perfect runs of more interesting games get voted down. I thought the point of the voting system was for quality control.

I looked at Areo the Acrobat, but the first level wasn't enough to make me want to timeattack the whole thing. Wasn't really enough action, and the games pace was kinda slow for what you expected.
Try the Ride the Rotor level.

Did anyone mention Aero the Acrobat? I haven't found exactly why Koopa Troopa is rated so highly among fans. I know he's got good speed, and his acceleration is better than Bowser and DKJ. Basically, he's not as fast as Bowser, but he doesn't lose as much speed going around turns.

Precedence. EDIT: Okay, I'll say something else seeing how this is my 100th post. Although, that would be kind of funny. "What was your 100th post?", "Precedence." Anyway, is there a tutorial for doing 2-player games? Meaning, there's only one player but two characters being controlled. I would like to try 8 Eyes (eventually) but it can't be entertaining enough without some badass bird action.
