You should consider going 64x , alot of your system isn't being used because it's getting capped by your 32x operating system.

Using your latest script, marzojr I (poorly?) added a small toggle variable toggle for the LUA hud (defaulted to false) so that someone may use your script to disable the games hud while not using your lua hud whilst not having to sacrifice small parts of the screen for the blue [+]. Hope you don't mind. Here is the script.

In Sonic & Knuckles, you can write 0x4E75 to 0xDB44 to remove the HUD. In Sonic 2 rev. 1, write 0x4E75 to 0x40D8A.
You sure about this? I took the demoscript posted by nitsuja and made the appropriate change and I couldn't get the HUD to go with Sonic2 (W) [!]. ( http://gens-lua.pastebin.com/m6640e57 ) Nor with S&K (W) [!] ( http://gens-lua.pastebin.com/m24cf1a6e )

I'm aware of that, Phallosvogel. It is a major shame though. I would love to have a Megaman game I can actually play with friends and family. It's why I've taken such a strong and quick liking to New Super Mario Bros Wii. Can't help but laugh at Spiked wall Man though.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcHR3HizRTA&feature=related This one is better.
I was aware of that video, was the reason I lookd for the link to Spiked wall Man that I provided.

During gameplay, I have found that it is possible with 2 players to cause zipping. It's not easy nor is there many spots to pull it off. I will try provide a video example sometime.

Is there any existing GunCon input plugins that work with PCXS?

The thought is appreciated and I may very well grab that script and use it later. However with my current Sonic 2 "Gens" , if I view Tails, it doesn't show hitboxes 100% correct.
One thing I keep thinking of is that the camera hack, hitbox and solidity displays should be offloaded into a Lua script. That would make them better customizable and let them be toggled independently without having to recompile Gens.
I wasn't aware that Lua could do that to Gens ? Especially the camera hack?

I still have that Gens modified for keeping Tails locked on screen but unfortunately I couldn't figure out your guide about changing the information at the top right to the currently locked character (So that I can find out Tails' acceleration etc) I'd appreciate it if you would try to explain again how I may do it.
If you prefer, you could use the LUA script I posted over here instead of those. It shows position (down to subpixel), speed (and inertia), ground angle and predicts jump speeds -- how your speed will look like in 2 frames if you hold 'C' for the next 2 frames. Although I should probably make the predictor not press any directions as in SCD since S2 has an air speed limit too...

Not quite. I've just been terribly busy so progress has been at a crawl. I had planned to give up originally (quite stupidly) over the debate about keeping the flow. But later realized it was just common sense really.
Good news. I was worried that you had been dissuaded by my attempts to help. It is good to know that my intentions did not go so horribly awry.
It was a bit disheartening at first to have put all that effort into planning the routes to get the Emeralds as fast as I did but theres nothing stopping me from submitting my old input under a different category. By chance have you done any research into some routes for this so you can offer me some more advice? It'd help alot in getting me restarted on this. I still have that Gens modified for keeping Tails locked on screen but unfortunately I couldn't figure out your guide about changing the information at the top right to the currently locked character (So that I can find out Tails' acceleration etc) I'd appreciate it if you would try to explain again how I may do it.

Not quite. I've just been terribly busy so progress has been at a crawl. I had planned to give up originally (quite stupidly) over the debate about keeping the flow. But later realized it was just common sense really. So I've been sat trying to find new routes to achieve Super Sonic while not killing the time too much. I may submit two runs however. One using my original input which obtains all Emeralds in EHZ (Treating it as a "Obtains Super Sonic Early") and the other as more of a Speed-run while obtaining Emeralds.

Would it perhaps be worth studying some of these glitch abuse videos? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFLmWzXeZQc ; Crush Early Battle
The problem with skipping to Crush is that you need all of the talisman from Summer Forest to reach Gulp anyways. You also need the swim ability for a few levels. So, unfortunately, that method is not of any use unless someone can find a way to reach Gulp without the talisman. I have already seen all of bob's Spyro videos and have seen/read about practically every Spyro glitch out there so all of them are kept in mind when making the route.
Alright. Thought I'd offer a suggestion. However if what your saying is true, can't that air-swim glitch get used on the overworld to get you where you need to go to? It's been ages since I played this and I can't say I tried to deliberately break it, so, I have no idea where you can clip out of the map etc.

I liked the idea of how you made the 2 second disclaimer clip look like part of the game. Although, if memory serves. we usually add a 3-5 second part at the beginning? That way it is a bit more noticeable. Although I thought there was an Official TAS videos youtube account already?

Sounds great. Any plans for doing a Glitch-run through with Hyper Sonic? Make it a NewGame+ and use this save file, then you won't need to dash about collecting Emeralds. I'd love to see just how much you could rip this game apart with Hyper Sonic.

If you have a bump, you should get that checked out. I'm Doctoring as fast as I can! I hate to sound like a broken record, but I'm steadfastly working on this, and it's slow work, so stop asking. I just completed the 3 Immature Tetarti operations, so it's still a long haul. Because after this is the mature Tetarti, then the 5 Pempti operations, then chap 5, then chap 6 which is basically a repeat of chap 5. Oh, and This is weird. Edit: Pempti is FINALLY done. On to Chapter 5.
Hahaha. Interesting bug there! How far are you now, champ?

Seeing as you have learnt all of this stuff, would it be rude to ask you to just do a full-glitch run? I'd love to see what you mean by "Just how abusive Super/Hyper Sonic is" . I would love to see just how much you can zip through the game with him.

Not meaning to pester. This would be helpful for a few little videos I would like to do to provide "proof" of how some things work (I.E some Yu-Gi-Oh! examples)

I would have to ask; 1) Do you plan on doing HD uploading? 2) Can your YouTube handle more than 10 minutes or would you have to do it in segments? 3) Would you skip any video content? (I.E Special Stages)

Is it a hard feature to do or something. are you not able to just view the source Gens and take it's recording coding and implement it? Or is it coded in a certain way that it only works with the Gens application? I can't admit to diagnosing the source too much so.
