I thought Genesis version was bizzare. This one... is too, but it also has better graphics and sound xD

Hello, supermanofky. Welcome to TASVideos! To make a button held, you basically need to press it on each frame you want it to be pressed. If you look at, for example, Super Mario Bros TAS for NES, you'll see that Right button ">" is being pressed for the vast majority of time. Since each second of in-game movie is typically 60 frames, clicking on each spreadsheet cell responsible for the particular button is very tedious. To speed up this process, click and hold left mouse button (LMB) on the cell you want the button to be pressed and move the cursor down until the frame you want the button to be released. In the same way, if you click and hold LMB on the cell where the input is specified already and move it up/down, the input for that button is cleared.

Why didn't you use your special attack against the slug boss? The reviews say it's possible to collect certain items (or craft them) and bypass boss fights. Is it possible to skip the slug boss? Because, you spent an entire minute fighting it.

Another game reviewed by AVGN is beaten. I didn't find the pace that slow, with the exception of defeating the giant slug boss. Yes vote

It's one of those game where you should watch it multiple times in order to understand anything, or watch a review of it. I admit, I found it entertaining too xD

Wow, what a lovely surprise! I was willing to make a full TAS of this game several years ago, but dropped it quickly. The game just got lost in my bottomless list of projects to revisit somewhere later. Yes vote. It would be a little better in terms of entertainment if you shoot mobs running past your crosshair, where possible.

Thank you very much for your effort for GBA emulation and verifications! A sceptic question, sorry. Did anyone else verified a movie which has been previously verified by you? I'm just worried that you may be developing GBAHawk with only your improvised verificator and ROM re-writer in mind.

berrimeow I never though my clumsy TAS would make someone join the community and do effort. Thank you very much! OtakuTAS Nominating by the request of the author just as a consolation despite the list of game not being good enough to compete with others.

KusogeMan It's not a very productive year in terms of results, but his patience and hardworking deserve mentioning here. He replayed the whole game (Mortal Kombat: Deception) just for the sake of one major time-saving glitch, while providing minor improvements along the way. SJ Welcome to TASVideos and thank you for covering Mortal Kombat franchise even deeper. Very high effort for 7 months. FitterSpace Very good effort this year. Great game choice, despite already existing TAS. James Bond TASes are always fun to watch. But I also was quite exited about his WIPs on GoldenEye 007 for Wii. It's disappointing this game hasn't been finished. NEVERDOORS Always nice to see you! I didn't expect Luigi's Mansion to be covered so deeply. Unfortunately, I never played it to praise it high enough, but maybe other people will do it by voting for you Captain_Forehead If Bomberman Hero TAS had indeed been being planned and developed for 13 years, then I can't help but respect such a giant time investment.

The input file should be finished after ~24800 frames (when "Exit" button is pressed for the last time). The title screen looks not enough optimized and I doubt it relates to RNG manipulation. The sections when you have to drive like normal don't look optimized at times. I mean, the path trails are definitely not the shortest possible or around it. UPD: temp encode has been deleted

Brain Age TAS by micro500. It was a real console playback, right? It's disappointing that all other Nintendo DS games are not verified yet

Well... Looks optimized. An Ok platformer. It's good to see another game console-verified. I voted Yes by impressions from the first view, but now I rewatched it once again and... I'd switch my vote to Meh.

Pretty optimized and interesting run. It can be published with an alternative goal #5489: Uroboros's GC Resident Evil 2 "Claire B" in 49:51.20

Hello, for the past 8 months I have been TASing Pizza Tower using libTAS with a custom Linux port of the game, however one problem I have always had is that the game does not run with any audio, now that the end of the any% TAS is getting closer
Now it's the "right" time to ask for help =-| To begin with, I'm not familiar with the game at all. Have you done enough research on this topic? 1. If you launch the game without libTAS, does it have the audio? If it does, then you can create in issue in libTAS repository and keylie may figure out what's the problem on libTAS' side. 2. I found in this Steam discussion that the game audio is stored in files with .bank extension. Are these files present in the right folder? Maybe these files are not found by the game. 3. If the game is still in development, then you may as well question the devs to make sure if gamemaker-fmod.dll has any Windows-specific dependencies. Then it might be the actual root cause of missing audio. 4. What's this recreation project? These contributors may have some knowledge how the game works, so maybe they can help 5. What about the game logs? I'm sure there is a way to launch the game in some kind of a debug/developer mode and see what errors the game outputs. Maybe some variable in configs or .ini files is responsible for logging

Looks cool, although its entertainment value is questionable at a distance. BTW, is such a TAS acceptable, if you explicitly modify the RAM?

Happy birthday! It's disappointing that a lot of people left this community, despite more loyal rules of acceptance and enhanced list of systems. Nowadays, it's a miracle if someone leaves a comment at your submission. I wish TASVideos become more popular!

Looking up the game there is this firing range you could use twice to bypass the collection requirements in two levels of a playthrough. Could using the firing range be faster on a level?
The firing range mini-game takes at least 35* seconds to complete, which is certainly longer than collecting enough villains and nukes in any level, including any of nuke store sub-levels. Besides, each new visit of the firing range increases the target meter by 10 up to 60 units (40-50-60), which also makes it longer to complete * - maybe TAS can narrow it down to ~30 seconds, but manipulating the spawn of dartboards doesn't have much potential

Please provide the game ROM info (SHA1, MD5 and stuff) in your submission text, so people wouldn't confuse, which ROM should be used for playback. What a quick runthrough with Kenshi, it was made like in 1 day. I didn't quite enjoy it. It's almost the same strategy for all fights. Voting Meh

I wish I could have a similar console testing tool. How useful would it be for the emulator development to have reverse-engineered TASes (when the input is built blindly and is iteratively loaded and played back on console to see if TAS works alright)?
