I love the most what Soig did! He did not that much, but his work is really valuable. I can't say the same about EZGames69 who has TASed planty of short and easy games like he was hunting for this award. I vote for quality, not for quantity!

[3817] PSX Final Fantasy IX by Lil_Gecko in 7:58:48.17 Honestly, this list has so many slow TASes. Where did The Mask go?? Nothing to pick! Well, there is a pair of decent movies. [3799] N64 Doom 64 by Headshot in 23:54.90 Controlling the Main Hero with neutral resets makes him running very fast which makes the TAS quite dynamical. The only slowdown there are monsters that block paths. Headshot found great tricks to make the TAS even faster, and all this in a pretty complicated game. [3794] Wii The Conduit by NEVERDOORS in 45:46.70 Almost all missions are shortened with the help of out-of-bounds tricks. Although the game is designed for a several hours of play, it has been finished quite fast. Let alone the cutscene where his SMG is moving in the air.

Yeah, that's a real challenge here! Everyone who TASed 2-3 games is a true compatitor here! Archanfel has done 2 games, but his Comix Zone was really impressive! Mitjitsu has done well too, but I don't really understand the charm of Magic Knight Rayearth and who this game is done for. Despite our wierd MK5 TAS with zoboner, it's still a game and someone played it =) Both Shinobi and Alien 3 were entertaining to watch! maTO has kicked the hardest Genesis game for me: Alien 3. Thank you! If he would take Rambo 3..., because I don't wonna take it too =) The time will show the best TASer, but now it's a mistery inside the enigma for me!

I judge by the quantity of submissions and games' complexity. The year was poor on submissions, so there is not a big variety of choice. Maybe gymnast86 indeed. Wobmiar has TASed the same long game for 3 times. Headshot has done the highest-quality TAS of 2018 in my opinion. So, the best TASers list is over. Since my TAS is totally disregarded, no-one wonders about me.
