Do you have basic video editing skills? If so, please see above - this is one more attempt at hopefully finding someone on the TASVideos side to help publish the commentary video for Super Metroid on the main TASVideos YouTube channel. If we can get a good flow going I'd love to see more of these happen but it'll take a touch of volunteer work - are you willing to lend a quick hand?
I don't mind helping with this one, although I'm not very familiar with Super Metroid and I hope there will be a clear sign of where to cut at the beginning (like "3-2-1-Go" start) and at the end for me to know where exactly to cut the video/audio

I thought you left the full game TAS in userfiles in April because it wasn't optimised enough or something, but I'm glad you finally submitted it. Yeah, it's a little disappointing that Easy difficulty doesn't reveal the whole game, but it's still nice to see a TAS of such a not so popular game. Yes vote P.S: GameCube version TAS of Battle Nexus is on the home stretch. Stay tuned! UPD: done it. #8730: Dimon12321's GC Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus in 50:22.08

I don't like the idea of putting all the input into one frame. Voting Meh

Frankly speaking, the length of the published encode was even a little unexpected for me. But I would do the same

So, what happens after you touch the bed? Does Willy go all the way to the left on his own, and teleports from Bathroom to Central Cavern?

arkiandruski: Looks good. Since from what I can see, Donatello is the fastest character to use, I'm removing the branch name and accepting as a Fastest Completion.
I was just following the pattern at speedrun.com, although there are indeed no vast differences in gameplay. Stage 5 and 6 have different boss placements for each turtle, and Stage 1 features a battle with Casey for Raph.

Well, it took two days...but I think you'll like the result this time.
Oh, Gee! I was pretty much satisfied even with the former result. It was just an idea that hit me. Don't overwork yourself

Pros:
  • Can Rerecord (drop a save immediately).
What does that mean? Do we have one-time savestates, meaning we cannot load the same save multiple times?

Wow, what a big research was done for this game! That's one of those indies which you'd really like to play like a game you just missed back in the day. The gameplay is fast-pacing like not only Sonic can move that quickly Yes vote

It looks quite smooth and has that fancy shadow effect on enemies. I felt like that was a modern homebrew game. Yes vote

Looks a little boring. Also, I have doubts about optimization because you don't stay as close as possible to your targets to have the fastest rapid-firing.

Thank you very much for your contribution! I have an abandoned project of Doom for GBA, but I think I'll redo it on your emulator when it's capable of console verifying a typical non-homebrew GBA game

I'm using Dolphin 5.0-16391. I successfully hooked to a GC game, MMU is off. When I execute scans, no addresses pop up in the list. Is this engine better than Dolphin's Tools -> Cheat Manager -> Start New Cheat Search?

By the way, i was testing a segmented longplay on 2.3.2 (and 2.4) of Bugs Bunny Lost in Time (PAL version) and the game freeze at Sam's Cave level. Its sad that the most accurate emulator ruins my run that way after 1 hour of recording :/
And you think, Windows 8 is the root cause of it?
