What about the alternate loading modes of LoadLibrary, such as DONT_RESOLVE_DLL_REFERENCES for LoadLibraryEx?

So besides sticking the loadable sections from the DLL into process memory, and applying the fixes from the RELOC section, and calling the entry point, what else is there to do to manually load a DLL?

So how well would the TAS's route translate into play on a real console? I could see that the basic RNG freezing stuff would work fine, but timing the heal spells to avoid encounters seems hard to do.

Anyone know where I can find the TAS that was done of the JP version of the game? I'm having a hard time finding it.

Is there a name for DW2 that freezes the RNG at the other value?

TI-Basic is all a bunch of junk. Nothing good can come out of that horrid language. When you got a 6MHz Z80, you need assembly. Uncle Worm is probably the best TI83 snake game. That game uses steering instead of instant directional turning.

Even after removing an intro, it is not a clean rom.

Does killing off the enemies reduce lag frames? Maybe you should collect a weapon.

According to Bootgod's NesCartDB, the ROM with the CRC32 of B89888C9 is the correct dump, and it doesn't work correctly in FCEUX. The alternate dump rearranges the banks to work around emulation errors. FCEUX seems to be emulating mapper 232 just plain wrong. Writing 10 to 9000 should select outer bank 02, but it selects outer bank 01 instead. edit: checked the code, it intentionally has a hack to work around bad dumps, that should be taken out.

The PAL version is far superior to the original NTSC version, since it has bigger sprites for enemies, and Mario can change direction in midair. This version also got a Japanese release on the FDS.

If this is relying on Open Bus, I'd really need to see this get console verified before I make any votes on this run.

I've been ruined by the Vietnamese Pokemon Crystal bootleg game, and can no longer see someone receiving an item without imagining the words "BAG FUCK" appearing on the screen.

Liked the movie for how weird and unexpected everything was, but still don't know what was up with collecting all those rupees at the beginning.

I liked this run a lot. Held my interest a lot, and it provides a nice look at GBC games that I never played. Too bad it's going into the vault.

This is by far my favorite April 1 TAS of all time.

Won't this TAS get game over once it collects enough coins to get 128 lives? Edit: No it won't, you need to die before having over 128 lives kills you.

I liked the part with Red Spasms Mario. Previously, I only saw that with a Game Genie.

On the page http://tasvideos.org/EmulatorResources/GBAccuracyTests.html , there is a broken link, since Blargg moved his site. It should now point to http://blargg.8bitalley.com/parodius/gb-tests/ , instead of http://blargg.parodius.com/gb-tests/ Edit: I see it's fixed now, thanks!

The sound is terrible on the encode, lots of gaps, especially when beating the levels.
