Oh good grief, we went one reply before we started debating credit.

Or make it some fairly worthless, like a box of rubber bands or a can of Axe deodorant.

Quite frankly, I find the concept behind this run to be rather hilarious. The mere idea that you can win at Scrabble with neither player doing a darn thing is unexpected and, to me, interesting. I can see this being published alongside a more conventional playaround at a higher difficulty.

Psst, Warp. This isn't TV Tropes. You can talk like a normal person here.

[quote="Anty-Lemon"I don't think I've seen any other game quite like it[/quote] I have. It appears to take after the the style of platformer that was popular in Europe back in the mid to late 80's. Games like Jet Set Willy, Monty on the Run, and Manic Miner.

Alright! I'd have handled some of the autoscrollers a little differently, but I feel comfortable enough saying that this should be published. Shame the last level is so poorly designed. Forcing the player to go through chunks of the level multiple times like that as a way of padding things out out to be banned by convention.

Scaryice: That's a lot more than I was able to get. All my attempts at going above YumYum resulted in the game locking up. I also doubt I'll be using the credits glitch. I'll leave that up to someone who's more well versed in ASM to deal with. Let's test something....

I'm referring to the bit around 13:50 in Plex's encode. You take the long way around some containers instead of taking the path between them.

Overall, very nice looking! I have to bring up a few points, though. 1. Most of the autoscrollers are rather dull because you spend too much time on the edge of the screen. 2. The missed shots look lazy. Especially against the robot arms in level six. You shouldn't be missing like that unless you absolutely have to. 3. Against the robot arms, would it be possible to not destroy them? Dodging them the whole time may make that autoscroller a touch more interesting. 4. Level Six again. Any reason why you went around the boxes instead of through them when getting to the conveyor belt room? 5. In some of the rooms with prison doors, would it be faster to briefly switch to Gun Man instead of using the slow moving tear gas? 6. Before Spikestuff mentions it, why does your input file continue all through the credits?

Topic spam! Chapter 2 is (re)done. Approximately 20 seconds ahead of my first effort at this point, and about 6 seconds ahead of Brandil's. Another test!

Problem with v0.0.4 Opening and saving a NESHawk .bk2 file created with BizHawk v1.8.4 corrupts the movie file. When you save the file, close it, then reopen, I have noticed that every single frame has been replaced by System.String[] instead of actual input, and the emulator will claim it's a 0 frame movie.

Does anybody have any idea how the RNG works? I'm specifically looking for ways to manipulate enemy drops.

What possible in-game justification could there be for sending an armed soldier into an amusement park to shoot up the clowns? What's next, Master Chu and the Drunkard Hu?

Nice find, Ducks. Now that I'm here, I figure I may as well share my progress before halting. It works its way up to Zoda Y during the boss rush, where it will promptly crash. I think it's the result of defeating part 1 too quickly. I've also had a chance to watch Brandil's WIP to pick up a few pointers. Good work. Overall, they seem better at navigation, while I pick it up with better combat. Anyway, now to undo three month's worth of inconsistent work. I'll be sure to put together everything found in this topic, plus my own experiences, and produce something that's hopefully pretty bangerang!

So here I am, making a TAS by myself, having made it to the boss rush at the end and inadvertantly triggering another credits glitch, before discovering this topic. There are ways of crossing pits?! I'm gonna have to start over, won't I? Just to contribute my own offering to the pool of knowledge here: Attack cooldown is reduced by two frames when you're in the air.

I've got no hands To slow me down, To trip me up, look like a clown. I could use hands; That's not for me. It's tool-assisted, see? Hi-ho the meri-oh, Savestates are the way to go. I want the world to know Death traps do not worry me. I don't have eyes To hide from me The things that are just off the screen. You all use eyes. You all use hands. But that's no good for me.

Yeah, I typically assume someone online is a guy, simply because of statistics. If someone turns out to be a girl, okay, whatever, let's move on.

What good would renaming do if the intent behind the tier is the same? That's like the Democratic People's Republic of Korea trying to pass itself off as not a dictatorship.

I will admit to having not read anything past the first few posts. Site admins come up with some new feature. Said new feature works pretty great! People are happy. System suffers one or two hiccups. A handful of people are displeased. Burn the feature to the ground!!!
