Am I the only one who was reminded of Pacman 2 when reading this game's description?

Save where you want to leave off and close the emulator. Once you're back on, load the emulator back up and play the movie (make sure Read Only isn't checked). Once playing, load the state and you'll be back to recording. This works for all emulators. What Read Only does is allow you to view specific parts of a movie without having to watch it all over again. Very handy for reviewing levels.

FCEU runs at 60 FPS, unless you're in PAL mode. Then it's 50.

My stability comment was more in reference to sticking with a common, well used codec instead of "trying to keep up for the best results". Bisqwit keeps talking about trying to keep a good quality/size ratio. However, if people wanted high quality, couldn't they just download ROMs? And you're little suggestion didn't do much for me. Oh sure, things will work properly (in VLC; that's another issue), but the sound for videos taken from my camera still aren't working, and haven't since I've downloaded the new codec. I'm just getting sick and tired of having to download new, updated codecs and playing the videos in separate players I don't even like when before I was perfectly happy with the results. Can't we please keep the accessibilty of this site high? Demand too much out of your customers and you lose them.

I've tried that, and ffdshow.ax refuses to install. Now all but VLC will crash, and the videos don't play back as well there. Bisqwit, please, stability. Edit: Okay, the downloads and intsallations went through. Now, however, some AVIs have no sound, and others no video. Thanks. <¬_¬>

Well, that depends on how far in math you've been placed. Taking Algebra II at 14 years is kind of elite where I come from. I didn't take that class until I was 16. :(

That thing next to pi is an i, the imaginary number. That equation is an extension of the basis of imaginary exponents, the formula e^(xi) = cos(x) + isin(x) if we're in radians. Check here for some clarification (that page isn't as good as another one I know of but it seems to be down :( ).

Convert to what, though? Lutheranism? Buddhism? Ralienism? Me, I'm a foot starting at the ears, 18 inches including the tail. <>_>>

PROGRESS REPORT!!!1 Level two finished. I went back and redid Jo2 because of a glitch I found which allows me to attack a boss before the fight. Kroakie Kate isn't as smooth as I'd like because I used two rushes to get through the snow wall and I had to wait for my charge to finish building up. Level 2 has a lot of bunny hopping prevent myself from sinking in the snow and to keep my "chibi run" longer (I don't think it's needed in level 1). I also managed to kill all one hit enemies... except for a flying snowman I somehow missed. I'd hex him to death if I knew how. >_< Time: 1) 4:03 AM 2) 4:07 AM Real Time: 1:43 I'm hoping I can shorten this five hour commute to under one. Now for level 3... Goi, slow water levels. <@_@> I'll post a progress report with each level done and a WIP once I take down the Toyminator.

A game this psycho was practically begging for it. Besides, I think Bob would be quite impressed with it. <>_>> Edit: Level 2 improved a bit; times adjusted accordingly. Missed snowman taken care of as well.

I've recently picked up this little project. The first level can be be seen here. Looking great so far, but I may have to redo it because I think I can shave a few frames from the beginning with better jumps. >_< That would mark the third time I've done it... The rush attack is proving to be very problematic. Yes, it moves faster than regular running, but I only have four charges per level (hard gives no rice) and I can't build any momentum with it. It's very valuable against bosses, but I only need two or three. Gah, placement, experimentation, trial and error. This is very intimidating. And I am NOT looking foward to the next two levels. If I get this done, I think it's going to be quite awesome.

Watch it again. Pay attention to frames 820-823. Don't watch whatshisface, watch the background. It changes between frames 820 and 821. It changes between 822 and 823. But between 821 and 822, there is no change. Thus, there is only a one frame pause on frame 822. I'll edit this post with a gif if I need to illustrate further. Please forgive me if I sound condescending. That's not my intent.

Watch it frame by frame. And if the two grunts are still causing you grief, try shooting at the flyer earlier. You're shots don't have to hit at the same time.

I can garauntee you it's those three extra jumps I mentioned. I just checked my own run and making those big jumps only stops me for one frame. I don't know why you're stopping for two; maybe you're in the wrong position?

Yes, that was the bridge. I'm thinking that you can pass over a part of it, back off and fall through the part that has already collapsed, then zip to the hole. It would be a bit faster than having to wait right above it. And if, for whatever reason that doesn't work, you can just jump to maximize your accelaration. Ah, whatever. I'll just wait for a future version and star-vote this one. :)

In the words of my brother when I showed him the original nine minute movie... That poor game. Very wow. Just two things. First, you stand in front of the downstab guard for a second before interacting; any reason? And it would seem that doing a quick backtrack on the collapsing bridge at the very end would allow you to fall into the pit faster. If that doesn't work, then jump. I also have to question the aesthetics of the bunny hopping, but I'm not going to make that a big issue. Still, great job!

The obligatory ferret remark. That's not mine, by the way. This one has my curiosity peaked. It seems to be from an anime; question is, which one? It's also another one where the sound won't load for me. Goodness, YTMND is the most fad ridden place since the LUE, and about as immature. I checked the contest thread... Can we say, "Not safe for work"?
