Bouncing Bouncing is a game breaking trick that is done by pressing B 30-20 times/sec (depending on the terrain)
Could someone please tell me what exactly these terrains are that require less than 30 B inputs/sec and why that is? I'd like to know in case it's pertinent to the tas I'm making.

I'd like to make some TASes this game and it's predecessor . Is there anywhere that has the most up to date tricks and strategies for the two games?

Eternal Engine w/sonic Link to video While (at least I think) this isn't too great, I at least wanted to get this out there in case someone else wants to improve it. I want to improve it but I'd rather not start that until I can get that lua script to display ram addresses working, and IDK when that'll be. (Plus once I found this trick at the end I really wanted to show it off :D)

I went through the process for this and got all the values, but when I execute the script, I get: "Error:[string "-- Script made by Masterjun to display stuf..."]:145: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'o' (a nil value)" Any idea on how to fix this?

For the team match, I wasn't trying to keep my partner from taking damage, I'm not real big into that manipulation stuff yet. In addition, the partner does nothing to defend itself at all. For the target stage I wanted to not take damage, and do something different for the sake of entertainment.

That's something that I've wondered about but from what I can tell, it's predetermined from when you enter the character select. I'll have to do some more testing though.

While I did try to go for speed on some parts, my main goal was entertainment so I did the bonus stages.

What exactly should I have in the config? Right now the best I can do is to have the VLC player tell me that it doesn't support the audio or video format "PIPE".

Is it named something different? Because I don't have it with what I downloaded. I tried downloading it again and still, nothing. The only file named pipedec is a .def one.

I ran the registry file for 64 on 64, but for the life of me I can't find the dll anywhere. I also tried the 32 on 64 and I still couldn't find it.

How do I use this with Dolphin?

Is there a specific frame rate that needs to be used? I've followed all of this exactly and the audio is still a little bit desynced, and I'm not sure what else could be the problem.

A couple more questions: 1. Is there any way to prevent the emulator from crashing at the 2GB split? I know that there is natt's pipedec but I have a 64 bit dolphin. 2. Once I have all of these files, what do I do with them to produce a full video? An explanation with limited technical jargon would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I don't seem to have any timecodes files. According to the dolphin encoding thread, it is supposed to be with the frame dump but it does not appear to be there.
