I'm playing Smash Bros Melee v 1.2. dspdump 0 and 1 are really short with seemingly no content, and dspdump 3 has the audio, but it is even more desynced than the audio in the avi.

For those of you that tas this game, what is your primary method of input? I used the tas input tool and found it to be rather unwieldy.

Even with this hack the audio for my tas doesn't properly sync. Are there certain settings or something that I should be using? (Version is 4.0.2 64-bit)

What? Why wouldn't it? Here it is https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11111638/p/Dolphin-4.0.2-avsync.7z
Every time I try to launch this I get the error that "The program can't start because OpenAL32.dll is missing from your computer." What can I do to fix this?

At the very beginning of this video what exactly is going on to get up to speed that quickly? I've been trying varying numbers of frames of walking and jumping, but the best I can do isn't very close.

I've started trying to tas City Escape, but the boarding section is rather hard. I can't seem to figure out how to go as straight and fast as in this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlXLLxzX5c4. I've found that alternating between two values on the horizontal part of the main stick can make one go rather straight but I can't get that fast. Some tips on how to would be appreciated.
