Maybe getting the second orb didn't save more time on killing bosses faster than it did to see the animatino?
Extremely unlikely. Otherwise other orbs would have been skipped instead of this one in the interest of saving time.
Unlike Soma, Julius can't leave the room unless he gets an orb.

Hello I found some wrong warps and places where you can use the wall jump glitch in this game look my speedrun of all levels: http://www.twitch.tv/vlacksr/c/4742795 these wall jump are very useful for all levels and 100%.
Why do you choose to enter 2'-1 before doing anything else? IIRC, entering 2'-1 after finishing game once requires much less waiting on bed than entering 2'-1 immediately.

So it's indeed another retool/port game that is very unoptimized on loading speed.

It's finally here. Is it considered ACE?

It works. I should have been more patient. I guess that retool of SMB really lacks optimization on loading speed.

FDS All Night Nippon Super Mario Brothers The game stayed in black screen after I entered any of the four warping pipes in 4-2. I was using Luigi.

Do you end up having more "kills" in the "0 boss" run?

Does the "0 boss" run require more attacking overall?

Thanks. I couldn't find that. It seems there are much more valuable tweaking in HGSS than in Platinum after all.

These can be used for major sequence break. Link to video Link to video Link to video http://www.twitch.tv/werster/b/420691974 An example. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tweaking This page says "an example of a shortcut using this method is being able to complete the Azalea Gym and therefore use HM01 (Cut) to proceed through Ilex Forest without having defeated Rocket Executive Proton in Slowpoke Well," but I haven't found a video of it.

You can play GBA games now.
Bizhawk tells me no core can load .gba files, and GBA is neither in config/path nor one of supported file types.

It will mean that we won't have a published run with the best ending, but that doesn't feel like a huge loss to me.
Doesn't the ACE run achieves the best ending?

Totally agree. That will probably be the most exciting part of the run. BTW, nothing happens when Julius enters the last room of Chaotic Realm. Therefore the fight in floating garden is literally one of all boss battles that Julius can enter.

It seems there are lots of dialogs in the remake. Maybe it's better to leave the remake for "all-exist" run and use the original one for "any%" since those dialogs are not suitable for a run which is supposed to finish the game as fast as possible.

Wow, you triggered the Simon ending during the MK's Bracelet cutscene? Does this count as finishing the game?

Which version are you using? Red might be a good choice because all four versions of Gen I will thus have a corresponding run.

The flickering in Paper Mario is not tally gone yet. The screen begins to flicker after the castle rises to the sky. It stops flickering after the first battle begin or after Mario is throw out of the castle though. I was using Rice.

If this were PSP, I could just use shield rod spell chaining and be done with it, heh.
Is it true that the SOTN bonded with DXC has more glitches than the original version does? BTW, it's a kind of ironic that PPSSPP already emulates SOTN inside of DXC better than how most of current PSX or SS emulators do in emulating SOTN for most time.
