Check this out. Ran into it when I was running to Brinstar. I dont know what was causing it, but I think it was the "HYPERSPEED-thing" in the beginning(where I start the recording). The screen isnt quite whit me and I think that is the thing that causing it. If I dont do the hyperspeed the glitch is not there. http://frenom.areta.org/fmv/supermetroid-frenom-ju-graphic-glitch.zip It only affecting when I run(ning)/go left. Kinda cool anyway, if only I could get those 2 energy tanks ;) Rom used "Super_Metroid_(JU).zip".. watch it. :)

You can use several of state saves, yes. I often use up to 3-4 serveral of state saves. One that is safe and 2-3 state saves that you work with. One thing that I hate is desyncs and if you would like to countine with a movie later on I just play the run and when I get close to where I am in the run I just Re-record. TAB is your friend with that.. it speeds the game at full speed. :)

SHIFT + to slow it down and SHIFT - do gain speed again.. One thing that I have noticed is that you cant get back to "normal" speed again. So close Snes9x and reopening it again to get nomal speed.

Great work on the run Invoker. Im watching it right now. But I think you should use the re-record to more to correct errors/mistakes and go for some speed. For example when you are trying to get the X-buster upgrade. I.e: Dont try to get hit(unless it save times) Let the dash be you friend. Dont dubbel click(I cab see that you using it) use the dash button instead :) And do not bother about the enemies(unless they are in you way :) Maybe im wrong but, do you use the start button at the subtiles/text? It goes faster ;) I just finish my second timeattack run om MMX which is 3 min and 34 second faster then my first attempt. :) But I dont go for any powerups and no hits taken. Otherwise.. Awesome work with your run, indeed. Keep the spirit and countinue with the good work. Now I shall countinue to watch you run :)

Gah ... must have miss it. Im holding the other buttons instead . :S Must have forgotten that or something. It was a while that you sat with your MMX to SNES and played like a mule. ;) Must be improved later on in my next try. Thanx.

I am currently working on a time attack on MMX2. Im wondering which is the best way to take. The order for the robots is no problem. It's the X-hunters that is my problem. If I kill the X-hunters I can skip Zero. If I dont kill the X-hunters I will fight X-hunters and Zero later in the game. Currently I am skipping the X-hunters but I will do the run again to see what the fastest way is.. I read somewhere that if I skip all the powerups/Hearts/X-Hunters and so on there will be an secret/alternative ending with X and Zero that are racing on a highway. Dont know if it's true, but ill will find out. :) My route is currently Overdrive Ostrich Wire Sponge (CUTTING him into pieces) Wheel Gator Bubble Crab Flame Stag Morph Moth Magna Centipede Crystal Snail (Kicking him out of his hideout shell) And the time at the clock after killing all the robots without the X-hunters are 23:55 http://frenom.areta.org/fmv/megamanx2-frenom-ver1-u.zip My run so far. ..

I think I found a bug.. Sometimes when you play a movie it will desync terrible wrong, lets say in the middle of the movie. but if you play the movie again it maybe wont. This is kinda annoying when you are looking how far and how it looks, and it will desync and you think like .. "GAAAH.. oh nooo.. now I have to do the last 3 lvls again".. It happens to me all the time ;)

I made an another example. This is from Castlevania Bloodlines to Genesis At this FPS you can nearly see whats happen. http://frenom.areta.org/15fps.avi Here you can accually see whats going on.. http://frenom.areta.org/30fps.avi Hey you can see the whole animation :) http://frenom.areta.org/60fps.avi But in my opinion I prefer smoothness and 60FPS. I rater wait some few moment longer for a 60FPS movie then a 15 or a 30FPS movie :)

Okey.. it's done.. After 6 desync in act 5 (enemys hideout) im done :) I hate desync.. thats why i had to rerecord 3300+ :P I left some of the intro's in every act just because they are soo cool ;) and thats not all, in this game you can do some pretty nice moves. Soo here it is... Michael Jacksons Moonwalker to Genesis. Enjoy this super game that brings you back in the 80's when we was kids/teenagers. It brings back many memories. Great Animation, Dancing and SFX... who can stand the Bass rythm in Billy Jean, the feeling of coolness in Bad or the terror of Thriller etc??.. ;) I hope it does'nt desync for you guys http://frenom.areta.org/fmv/moonwalker-frenom.zip Movie length: 26 min 30 sec Rom used "Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (JUE) (REV 00) [b1].bin" And ofcourse is it played at HARD.

My last run on this game was 00:13:07.. But Lezards run(VirtuaNES) is a LOT faster. 11 minuts or someting ô_0.. Try to use the "Jump-N-Slash" on the bosses.. they die kinda fast with it ;)
