Wow, here's a game I remember having and finding very difficult to beat. With passwords gained from normal play, I could only get to the level set right after Zozoon (the boss at the top of the tower), and even with a Game Genie I couldn't beat the last boss at all (there's no invincibility cheat), so frame advance and re-records on that final boss (a pepped-up version of the first boss, if I remember him right) sounds like the only real chance at beating him. Those links are giving me 404s for some reason; otherwise, I'd check your video out and give advice. Edit: Sorry! Didn't see that this was a year old. I only figured it out by viewing the cancelled/rejected submissions and finding that Truncated had said no. Why does this ALWAYS happen to me?

Hello. I'm the one who did the run on Speed Demos Archive (and I decided to use a different alias on this forum, for reasons even I don't know), and I will have to say that seeing a glitch-based run of this game sounds like it'd be a very interesting idea. As far as using every one of Mario's forms at least once: I'm really hoping that occurs in the resulting run. Mainly because they all have some sort of merit to them. I really don't think the bells are necessary at all - they add time to the movie and, as previously stated, the minigames are SLOW. You're better off waiting in the level to get a powerup than getting one from any of those games. Also, is there any way anyone here could test a theory of mine regarding the Pumpkin Zone boss (the witch)? I claimed in the comments of my run on SDA that she teleports after getting hit with ANYTHING. I'm curious to know if I was right.

I haven't watched the entire video yet - only the first two levels - and I haven't put in a vote yet (I want to put in more time with the forums before I do any voting on any movie, and it seems I have to anyway) but I will say that I have to agree with Truncated here that this video isn't quite as interesting as it could be. I would like to make an extension of the 'play with death' point and note that I saw you being a bit skittish in your attempts to cut it close in the second level. In the future, is there any chance you can be less skittish about that?
