Nobody published it yet. As I said, I can't upload the torrent file I've made in the publishing form. It's mainly due to the higher-than-average resolution (512x480), because of the ending, and I don't want to lower the quality for that, I want to stay in the quality standards. So here's all the stuff you need for publication, if you can publish torrents with a higher Mb/s ratio. Archive page Mirror link YouTube Torrent (Length: 38:16) Screenshot (Optimized)

While I've did pretty much every encode needed for publication, I can't publish it. The downloadable encode's size is too big for publication. Its size/second ratio is something like 13.2 MB/s, while it had to be 10 MB/s. Unfortunately, I don't have what it takes to reencode it this week-end, and I've also planned to encode [1779] Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog 2 by FuzZerd, Sonikkustar, upthorn, Aglar in 18:42.37 in HD. So... I have to open the door for another publisher, so it can be published faster.

Pardon. Peut-être que "malgré le fait que" serait plus appropriée.

Seriously, I can't wait to see adelikat's answer to this movie. Just to see who won the "civil war".

So yeah, at the second page, I've stated my Meh vote. The camera angle didn't annoy me at all. I could follow Mario correctly. I just didn't count this as entertainment value. The reason I voted Meh is the fact I can't see a visible improvement. I think that HappyLee made a great visible improvement for the latest published Super Mario Bros. movie, which is why this was my most stupid No vote ever. But in the case of this very submission, I don't regret my Meh vote. But why Meh? Because they made a good effort to save some time. I wish that if this gets published, we all vote at least the same thing we voted for its predecessor. Because it's still an awesome movie. I guess it will be a tough choice for adelikat. Which will win? 3 frames improvement or (what people call) bad camera angle?

Mickey, snark and ToT are Japanese. Mickey has the best English, but that doesn't mean he can keep up with all the posts and understand them.
Oh fine then.

Ok so what I saw there was basically the same run as before, with different camera angles. I feel bad for all of you three. I know you've put much effort in this movie. But I didn't see a noticeable improvement. Both in term of speed and entertainment (I can't consider those new camera angles as entertainment). If this lacked effort, I'd vote No. But you made effort, so I'm going to vote Meh.

I've finally decided I won't make one. I'll just compare by myself. I'll vote after that.

Voting Yes. Would this be the shortest run on the site if it was published?
Nope. One single movie would be in on its way to become the shortest movie published. [1145] Genesis King's Bounty by gia & Aqfaq in 00:09.93

To let people see how different this movie is in term of entertainment. I hope these frames were worth saving. I usually don't really like these kind of submissions. I was one of these three people who voted No for [1715] NES Super Mario Bros. "warps" by HappyLee in 04:57.31 for the simple fact it saved only one frame, and it was stupid because I didn't compare this one with the preceding one. This time, I'd wait until I see my comparison video before I vote, to be more fair.

Would it be possible to copy the input, the rerecord count and the other informations into a new movie made with an actual system BIOS? As long as the BIOS has the same refresh rate and region?

So this answer I got from Flygon months ago is now invalid? EDIT: That would be useful for my HD encodes on YouTube, but for my SD encodes anywhere else... I guess I'd use Lanczos4Resize.

So far, I've encoded DOS games in 60 fps, but I've heard of higher and variable frame rates. I'm planning to program a little something that would analyse a timecode v2 file, generated by the JPC-RR stream tools, to discover the shortest time between two frames, and to base on that result to find highest frame rate, and use this to create a CFR dump, so I can import it in an AviSynth script without any frame loss. But before I do such a thing, if you have any easier way to convert a VFR DOS dump to a CFR dump with the VFR's highest frame rate, then shoot.

I would never encode a 3D PSX game in HD using PointResize. Because it would look ugly. Mupen64 has a great video plugin so it can render the 3D models in HD. That's a great thing. PSXjin is missing such a thing. You know a way to hide that ugly effect Point resizing does to 3D games? Or is there any other resizing method that would do the trick for 3D games?

While I encode something in SD, I always make my own "..._512kb.mp4" file to make a stream from some server and for Archive.org. As an AviSynth user, I have to make a final resize so the final video's size matches the 4:3 aspect ratio. There are numerous ways to resize something with AviSynth. I'd like to know which one you'll recommend so we get a "TV feeling". Because I think that a TV won't do a point resize so a video fills the screen.

Swedishmartin, the age doesn't matter when it comes to experience. Anyone can be better than anyone in anything, no matter the age. That's a part about how life is made. I'm 18, and I absolutely know that a kid is better than me in programming, music, TASing, encoding, freaking anything! And I don't worry a bit about this! Let's take an example here, on TASVideos. As I said, I'm 18. About TASing, I have little experience in this. In fact, I have what I need to create joke submissions. Otherwise, I suck at TASing, and I think I'm gonna stay as a Publisher here. And look at Sonikkustar (if that annoys you, Sonikkustar, sorry). I think he's something like 15-16 years old (but I do know he's younger than me), and he's a freaking "Skilled player"! He's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than me at TASing. I'm not crying because of that! Another example, the youngest DJ in the world is 7 years old. See? That's freaking young! And also, I'm not THAT good in a video game called "Street Fighter IV". One of my friends is 13, and he's doing international SFIV tournaments! Again, I'm not sad because of that. In other words, your life is not wasted because someone younger is better than you in something. You can become an expert at something, no matter if you're a baby or an old man. I have a question for you. When you were a kid/teen, did you have a special talent at something?
