I'd vote No for the game choice, since it looks boring, but seeing this run destroyed the game at the end made me vote Meh.

While I know you were joking, I do really plan to encode it eventually, when I don't have like 5 million things going simultaneously.
I'll leave this to you Aktan, and you can just modify the Archive collection I made since I put it in the Speed Runs archive.

That problem should be fixed for the published encode.
But I cannot fix this, so deal with my encode, or make another one.

Almost flawless. Sonikkustar pointed the only flaw, which is the sound effects at the end.

Meh, someone just needs to be crazy enough to try to dump it 100 times =p
I gave up at 10.
I got it at 15-20.

Err, MisterEpic. I hate to nitpick, but the sound at the very end is fucked up beyond belief. Just wanted to point that out since its so glaring.
This was dumped from FBA v0.0.5.01, while the run was made in v003c. The sad thing is... I can't open X2poet's ending-syncing save state in this version without making it crash. So, I think I can't correct this sound problem. Anyway, that's not the most major sound problem in history of Earth, and everything else is fine, so I don't think I'll reencode this for such a thing. Consider yourself really lucky to have this one.

Go ahead and watch/download it in the sub's text. Enjoy the right palettes and the good ending! HD encode coming this week to YouTube.

Consider an SD and an HD encode coming from me! Thanks to X2Poet and his save file! Here's a trick to avoid the desync at the 5 helicopters at frame 4600. If FBA is already open, close it. Then, open it (without loading the game) and go to "Game" -> "Movie..." -> "Start playback...". Then, choose Metal Slug X, and choose the movie file. If it doesn't work, close FBA and try again. For me, it worked with v0.0.5.01. Then, for the ending, open X2Poet's save file while the movie is playing. EDIT: And also, I vote Yes for the entertaining TAS, and adding a second player is a nice improvement!

Where can I upload a file you can download?
You can try MediaFire. It's free and no account is required.

Too bad I can't download it. :( It says it cannot access the website.

So, what's up with the desync issues? I still can't get it to sync!

I went with a Meh as well for the repetitiveness. But great job finding this glitch! It looks like that kind of cheat code you enter in a Game Genie!

To anyone who can do that. Please, add these files to the publication. This is for a camhacked encode. Mirror: http://www.archive.org/download/NesMarbleMadnessIn0243.01ByAglar/marblemadness-tas-aglar_camhack.mp4 Torrent: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14171741/TASVideos/torrents/marblemadness-tas-aglar_camhack.mp4.torrent Duration: 03:14 (By the way, adelikat is for putting this additional encode)

It's the "FBA/config/fba.roms.dat".Some keys setting are different in the neogeo game. And you can sync. If this cannot have some effect, download the file http://www.tasvg.com/upload/2011-1/25/x2poet-mslugx.7z there is a "FBA0.roms.dat" file in this 7z file. And you may change the file name if it is necessary. There are already some successful encoding and I have one.Because some rules of the law,I can't upload it to Youtube.
Definately something I should try tonight.

This looks like a simple Pac-Man play, by an expert. A TAS is about beating an expert player. And I think that a Pac-Man game like this will never make a TAS that surpasses human skills. Unless you find a way to manipulate the power-ups (in term of time before it appears and the power-up itself) in Pac-Man Arrangement. Too bad, I have to vote No.

There is a working iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad emulator, but it's only for Mac, and it's only for app development. I'd also love a rerecording TAS iPhone emulator, since if there's a game I'd like to TAS, it's Infinity Blade.
