Good work Ilari. Both TASes for 94 and 95 are as good as the TAS for the original game. Both movies get a Yes vote from me.

And also, new animated logo + fading subtitles ftw.
Making it harder to catch the "TASvideos.org" part is not good, imo.
Don't worry, this logo died fast. Now the TASVideos.org part is static.

Same as the other movie for this, I already have non-uploaded SD encode.
Fine. HD encode only then. EDIT: YouTube'd And the screenshot is...

HD alone is enough, I already have SD encode (not uploaded yet).
Fine. HD encode only then. EDIT: YouTube'd And the suggested screenshot is...

btw, will it be published soon?
We will have to wait Fractal's approval judgement before it gets available for publication. I'm planning to publish your movie once it gets accepted, but I'll be available to do it tomorrow night (in Eastern Time). So you will have to wait at least a day before it gets published.

I would be able to tell a friend "I've TASed your wife yesterday."

Just what I've expected. I still keep my "No Deal" vote. And 617 rerecords?! I can do the same thing as you did with a single rerecord by game!

this list means nothing, since it includes a lot of TASable games, like Donkey Kong 3, Gunsmoke,Actraiser 2, Mortal Kombat, Ghostbusters, Mickey Mouse: World of Illusion Rockman Megaworld, Splatter House 2, WarioWare Twisted!, a lot of hacks and a ENTIRE SYSTEM.
Just remove them. You're an editor after all. But WarioWare games look boring to be TASed.

I've tried to TAS this game once, and I've said "No Deal" to this game since it would look boring and I would be able to win it by a single rerecord. This game is also listed here. No Deal.

Mister Epic, get that Fiber Optic connection ready to be locked and loaded, you're going to need it.
First of all, I don't have a fiber optic connection. Second, where I live, my connection is considered as not-so-fast. Yeah, faster connection is accessible. Third, I'm now in a trip and I'll be far from home until Tuesday/Wednesday. And for last, this game is a codec poison due to the large color amount. So I don't know if I'm going to encode this one in HD, but it won't be before later next week.

The worst thing I've been thinking about what's going on with ZeXr0 happened. He died indeed. And I thought he would go well after this operation, but it turned out as a failure. Damn it! He was only 24! Even if I didn't know him very well, I still feel sad about this. He was a nice community member. Reste en paix, ZeXr0.

I don't think this is the correct way. We should really find the underlying cause of the desync
The cause is the fact the video is playing at a wrong frame rate, I think.

This also means that the published encode might be incorrect...
Take a look at the SD encode then, and watch it completely. You'll see everything's alright.

If you want a fix for that sound problem, go to Thread #10483: How to fix PCE audio desync problems. I've posted something simple there.

I see Flygon's HD encode for #2938: DarkKobold's PCE Bloody Wolf in 14:19.74 has a sound desynching problem, and he told he has such a problem with his AVI dump. That sound desync problem happened to me when I was encoding [1631] PCE Bonk's Adventure by jerfo in 24:03.63, and I could fix this easily. 1. Load the AVI dump in VirtualDub. 2. Go to Video. 3. Go to Frame Rate... 4. Check "Change so video and audio durations match". 5. Click OK. 6. ??? 7. PROFIT!!!

On a side note, I've noticed YouTube has up the quality on lower resolutions recently, maybe HD encoding isn't needed anymore.
That would be something to check, since those screenshots were made a couple weeks ago.

YouTube and a lot of video players can't resize videos properly. In fact, they are only able to make them smaller. When they are trying to make them bigger, it looks blurry, which is bad. So, we make HD encodes to make sure that even if you watch the video in full screen, it still looks sharp! Personnaly, I only do these encodes for YouTube. I've made a comparison picture to show you what I mean. And it's only when using the big YouTube player! Imagine that SD mess in fullscreen.

Hmm, perhaps it's just on my end, but the second link stopped playing around 3:50:00. No such issue with the third link, however.
The second link is made to download and save the file, not to stream it (the third link is made for that)! :P

Game: Cyberbots - Fullmetal Madness System: Arcade Authors: Me Progress: First fight is done (I gave up after the second fight) Discussion: I'll make one if you have anything to say about this. Link to video I hope you like my work so far. This game is way more fun to TAS than Magnetica, and even Dian Shi Ma Li, and it gives better results in my opinion. I've picked Jin Saotome because he's an awesome guy, and I've picked Tarantula because it's an awesome bot. I'll do a "2-player character swap" later in the movie. EDIT : The sad thing is, if I change the bot, I have to change the pilot as well, and if I change the pilot, the game restarts at its beginning, since each pilot has his own story. I think that seeing Tarantula doing the same things over and over again would be boring so I give up this TAS.
