HOLY SHIT! It's really happening! Can someone pinch me please? ... Anyway, I've watched the movie, and I'm not impressed. I think this game is boring to watch. It doesn't look like a good game to TAS, IMO. I'm voting Meh, because of your nice effort. Mass Effect 1&2 TAS, make it happen, anyone!

On another note, I think we had such a topic before.
I've made a search, and there's a topic about desktop backgrounds, but nothing about full desktops.

Take a screenshot of your desktop, and post it here, if you want. Here's mine. Click on the thumbnail for the full picture. (Updated on September 21st 2011) Desktop objectives: *Full-HD resolution (1920x1080) *No icon in the desktop. Most of everything else is pinned in the Start Menu. Games are in Steam. My TAS encoding stuff is in My Documents. Recycle Bin in the Taskbar. *Uses the old-school Windows style, even if it's Windows 7. *Is in French.

Voted no on technical merit and for not using the superior Saturn version.
Sorry to object against your No vote, but I've tried the Saturn version in Yabause, and there was graphical glitches.

Is there a way to emulate the sounds of a Game Boy Advance, so I can extract them in WAV samples? I'd like to compose GBA-like music using a tracker. I like its 8/16 bit blend.

When TASing a Windows game, what screen resolution should we use? Because in my side, my maximum resolution is 1920x1080, while there are games that can go further than that. And also, if we encode a Windows game, is that possible to choose another resolution than the one used for TASing, or will it cause desyncing? For example, if someone TAS a PC game at 640x480, and I want to make an HD encode out of this, I'd have to set the resolution to something like 1280x720 or 1920x1080 (if the game supports it, of course). Would it be possible?

But these runs are based on the NES version, while Pictian's run is based on the more perfect SNES version. It's probably simply a bad game choice because of that.

I ain't gonna TAS this game, but I seriously thing this game must be absolutely be TASed, or else my life wouldn't be complete. Yes, I'm THAT excited for a Portal TAS. Especially since it's possible to complete it in under 10 minutes without any tools. Link to video I hope this game can be used in Hourglass.

This game is one reason why a Windows re-recording emulator must absolutely be done. This, and Portal.

I'm giving up my encode. There was a problem with my first AVI dumping, which causes the sounds to lose the sync. I've used a save state to interrupt my dumping process, because I had to go, and then I moved the files I've made so far in another computer, and then I've resumed the dumping process. I think this may be the cause of this problem. So I've deleted the dump, thinking it was bad, and having the idea to start over. But I'd rather give up than starting over this loooooooong stuff. It's too much time consuming. Flygon's doing the SD encode anyway. Thanks to DarkKobold and Dacicus for your help.

Hmm. It looks like the SDA run has a sub 8 hour finish time. Any idea what this TAS would be if it were timed in the same manner?
This is 8, the run on SDA is on 7. Unless there's a submission queue in SDA (since I'm not even an SDA member and I don't know the forums).

Regardless of the AVGN's opinions, I liked this game a lot as a kid, and I bet a lot of other people here did too, so I thought a proper run should be made for it.
AVGN'S opinons Of course it's biased. It's simply supposed to be funny. By the way, there's violence and a coarse language. Plus, it's the follow-up to this episode.
