You could have asked a judge, the senior publisher (sgrunt) or a site manager to replace your submission's movie file by an improved one.

Why!? Why did you throwed that run to be eaten by TASVideos Grue?
I guess that would be because of criticism, once again. He's probably improving the run, again.

Like "Ask X", "The best unknown games for X" is probably going to have a bunch of threads. So I'm making a general thread where you can share your favorite "unknown" games for any platform. By "unknown", or course, we still mean hidden gems that aren't big commercially (not like Call of Duty, God of War, Super Mario Galaxy 2...).

WarioWare isn't a good idea :P
D.I.Y. is different, since you make your own microgames in this one. But still, I don't think it's a good idea, since it would be like saving your own microgame in the cartdrige, but you will be able to see its creation process.

I think this run could greatly benefit from the usage of dirty SRAM to skip the mandatory age check and naming process in order to be able to proceed directly to the various minigames where the potential for separating itself from the published run is the greatest.
That would be awesome!

I will not vote yes on a submission that doesn't put the runner section back. That final image was brilliant, and completely made the run for me. Why did you remove it?
I guess that would be because people criticized this part. They found it boring.

I'd go with two franchises. beatmania IIDX and Taiko no Tatsujin. These two are two great music games franchises from Japan. Both of them got one game in America and Europe, but they commercially failed in these continents, while they are still very popular in Japan. Both series have a lot of games, on both arcade and consoles. beatmania IIDX has 15 PS2 games while Taiko no Tatsujin has 11. beatmania IIDX, from the creators of Dance Dance Revolution, is supposed to be a DJ simulation game. You play with that kind of controller. The goal is to press the keys and to spin the disc at the right moment to "create" the music you're playing. Here's a video of a moderately hard tune, and here's a video of a tune that is so hard, that you'll have to give up your life to win it, especially on the right side. Taiko no Tatsujin is a Taiko drumming simulation game. You play with these drum controllers. The goal is to hit on the drum or on its edge at the right moment to drum over music. Here's a video of a medium/hard tune, and here's a video of a tune that is, once again, freaking hardcore, especially after 42 seconds. I found both of these series pretty addictive. I especially like IIDX's soundtrack. A downside for these games, is that they are region-locked to Japan, so you'll need either a japanese PS2 or a modded one. Unless you find an out-of-Japan version of these games, if you're lucky. But to be honest, in term of challenge and song selection, I prefer the Japanese versions. That's all I had to say about these games. :)

You pianoed even better than before! Of course, it gets my Yes vote, again. And I've encoded this, again. But this time, you can see every note being played in my HD encode. SD Stream SD Download HD Stream

To seeders. I had to replace the torrent and the Archive mirror. The frame rate wasn't correct. This time, I've changed the audio sample rate, so the frame rate stays intact. Such a sample rate wasn't supported by NeroAACEnc, so I had to make an MKV with OGG audio.

Don't do anything until you do the ones on Playlist.
But all of them are destroyed by YouTube's incapacity to make our movies in 3D. A YouTube stream for a Virtual Boy game may look fine on a publication's page, but if someone wants to see it in 3D, he has to go to the YouTube page, where the video is squashed horizontally.

I'll wait and see your results before I do anything else about this, unless you're not going to use YouTube's 3D feature.

I've planned to reencode every Virtual Boy movie in HD & 3D, to improve the quality, to give something unstretched, and to have 1-parted streams. I've encoded [1519] Vboy Teleroboxer by Ryuto in 05:40.42 to try it out. I've uploaded to YouTube and stuff, but it gives the exact same bad thing as sgrunt's encode. You can compare it by yourself. sgrunt's encode My encode Why the hell is YouTube destroying the video like that? Even weirder, this video and this one look fine. Have any ideas?

I've extracted two PNG images from an interlaced VOB file. I'd like to deinterlace at least one of them. I don't care if it gives a blurry result, I just want it not to look "blocky". In fact, these two images are the same thing, but the interlacing looks different. Image 1 Image 2 Is there an automatic or manual way to get a single deinterlaced picture? I'm looking for a solution that implies the use of one of these images, or both of them. Thank you.

Oh, and I will also redo the SD for Bonk's Adventure. The frame rate is wrong for this one.

Anyway, if you wish to reencode these 3 remaining movies in my first post, then fine, you can do them. But please leave Metroid MockingBird to me. Thanks.

I'm going to reencode these movies in HD. #2875: Hoandjzj's SNES Super Metroid: MockingBird Station in 31:00.42 #2829: jerfo's PCE Bonk's Adventure "any%" in 24:03.63 My encodes from these movies hosted in my YouTube account (and a lot more, but they are reencoded by BrandonE, Flygon and Ilari) are already deleted from the publications and my YouTube account. The reason why I did this is that each of these encodes is either encoded with that dead HQx filter, with that dead frame blending method, broken in multiple parts, or a combo of these things. I've already started the dumping process for each of these movies. I want them back on my YouTube account, so please, leave these movies to me. Thank you.

SD Stream (RadioKJ's server) SD Download SD Stream (YouTube) I've picked 5 screenshots. You can now vote for the one that is going to be published with the movie, if it gets accepted of course. http://www.acepolls.com/polls/1200407-which-screenshot-do-you-want-to-be-published

Yes vote from me, and encoding. I can't play the movie, it desyncs. If anyone can make it work, that one can encode the movie. Found a way to fix this. Alright. Encoding...
