1) Yes, I made the Flash videos I want to upload to YouTube.
2) The version of Flash I have is Macromedia Flash MX.
3) My comp's specs are somewhat on the modest side (Windows XP, 1.2 GHz CPU, 256 MB RAM, and around 10 GB of free space on my hard drive).
4) I have zero experience making videos, and no video making software at all.
So yeah. The more automated the process, the better, and yes, it should include audio. What do you guys suggest?

I want to upload a couple Flash animations to YouTube. I'm guessing first I have to convert the .swf file to .avi, or .mpg, or something like that. What would the best way to go about doing that be?

That's odd. I wonder what happened. I've watched videos over 20 minutes long on YouTube before. I wonder how it really works.
Also, nope. I had nothing else running in the background at the time. And I tried to watch the movie twice, on two different days, using two different browsers (IE and Firefox). So it can't be my fault. My PC's fault, maybe, but certainly not my fault.
Tried watching the movie on the emulator too, but all I get is a frozen black screen after the "1998 (c) Nintendo" screen fades out. Running out of options here...
EDIT:
Extracting the video file using KeepVid did the trick. It was fun watching Yoshi zoom around eating fruit so fast that, at times, the fruit meter couldn't keep up. Here's looking forward to an all levels, all-melon/hearts run (maybe in Trial Mode?).

Nope. YouTube's limit was upped to 15 minutes several months ago. Some members don't even have a limit, depending on how long they've been members IIRC. So, yeah. This TAS could certainly be uploaded to YouTube.
Also, how is it my fault that my PC won't play Dailymotion videos properly?

From what I've seen:
1) Inferior graphics/music (obvious).
2) Less enemies.
3) An entire world was completely cut out (Gloomy Gulch).
4) One of the animal buddies, Rattly, was cut out as well.
5) All of the remaining levels, although based on the SNES ones, have different layouts.
That'd sum it up rather nicely, I think.
So, basically, one could say GB's DKC2 is the poor man's DKC2...

I have a Game & Watch handheld, namely "Donkey Kong 3". It's in mint condition, save for the packaging, which shows some wear.
Also, a cousin of mine has a Game Boy (the original model) and a Virtual Boy.

It's because it was historically significant. SMB1 basically redefined the 2D platformer genre. It set the standard for every other 2D platformer game at the time. And then some. Before SMB1, most (if not all) video games were fixed, non-scrolling screen affairs (Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Pitfall, Space Invaders, etc.). SMB1 changed that forever.

I went back and played OoT more than a dozen times, and each time I'm impressed with how solid that game is and how well it stands the test of time. It's one of the very few games I consistently replay every now and then. Then there's Majora's Mask. The world needs more Majora's Mask, period.

For those of you having problems beating the game, just die several times. Usually, at the Game Over screen, Dr. Light unlocks something for you, like E-Tanks. Once unlocked, you have to go to the game's setup option in order to enable the E-Tanks. First you only get to use one, but you can earn more just by playing long enough.

By default, the buttons are set to horrible and completely unintuitive places in the keyboard. All buttons are set to letter keys; I don't remember exactly which ones right now, though. I recommend changing the keys to more comfortable choices in the options menu before starting the game. Fortunately, keys are fully configurable in this game.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Dr. Wily just sent all of his robots after Mega Man at once? Well, wonder no more!

Note: It's hard, but it definitely can be done. It took me about 15 tries and an E-Tank, but I eventually did it! Also, sorry if this is old news, etc.
