I can sort of confirm that it also works on the Japanese version, and it might be possible to do on other stages with Chain Chomps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XfgiYJKFpg

I recall seeing the WIP on Youtube, but yeah, I have thoroughly enjoyed the current progress and although I may not have mentioned in my comment, it sure would've been cooler to have been able to break the lower blocks in World 1 tower. Though I've been wondering this for a while now. Why not use the pipe in World 1-1? Wouldn't that lead to a faster time?

Well, for the first bit of the game, I will go for an Adamant natured Totodile and progress on as normal. Should I get Geodude after getting the PokéBalls?

Well yeah, I've been thinking a bit about it and I'd like to attempt a run of it. Of course, you are free to do one as well, but I now have one problem. Both versions have the problem that causes them to freeze the game at random points of play and there is one solution, however, it is an AR code which only prevents them from freezing. And if I remember right, AR codes are not allowed to be used. Any suggestions?

Kitsune is right. It is up to the TASer to decide. Also a 100% run would do quite nicely, including the Hammer Brothers as they can waste time on the Overworld. Oh yeah, I should give my critique on the run now. It was greatly entertaining for me, even though there could be a few improvements to be made here and there. As MUGG have mentioned before, for World 1-2, just move slightly to the left and then press left+right(makes me have to work a little harder on my non-TAS run of that level for the GBA). And also, it looks like there were a bit of things that could've been avoided and improved on, such as in World 8-1, where you bumped into the wall. Something tells me that it's avoidable. The title screen can be sorta quickened. And also the Boom-Boom fights could also be quicker, but other than that, it is a great run. --- Post edited by a mod: Please refrain from using color codes on normal text for readability's sake.

I must say that I've loved both the Glitched run and the full run of AttP. In fact, I am re-watching the full run right now. Hopefully a 100% run would be possible in the future. I'd try it myself, but I've only gotten up to like 63% of the game done after beating Ganon. Anyway, I hope you do continue the AttP run Tompa!

I see now, thanks. Now to decide for the characters.. I was thinking of using SailorVenus, however her whip only hits an enemy 3 times and doesn't deal as much damage. Sure, she'd work sorta for entertainment purposes, but no good other wise.. SailorJupiter is not quite fast, but is all power. SailorMars is good overall, I could say she is of good balance as well as great reach. SailorMercury is more speedy than powerful, but can be quite good in most other situations. Then there's SailorMoon herself and she is somewhat balance too. Also there seems to be a possible chance for a fan drop, even early on in the game.

Hmm.. what about a mixture of it all? Also, I will take the advice of not killing the enemies off-screen quite well and closely.

Hi, GoddessMaria15. I'll try to be honest with you, I hope you don't get discouraged. I found your WIP mildly boring. All TASes of beat 'em ups are usually boring, even of awesome games like Streets of Rage or Golden Axe. I think the only beat 'em up I ever found entertaining was this one; the sex scenes in that TAS were hilarious. Maybe you could try adding to your run a bit more of sex? Also, I would reconsider your choice of using the SNES version. Besides having better graphics overall and being faster, I think those girls look better when they're nude in the Genesis version: (SNES) (Genesis) Your TAS looks very good technically, but I'd focus more on a playaround instead of just speed. For example, maybe you should make them do something lesbian or something similar? Or instead of killing the enemies outside of the screen, just wait a little more until they can be seen and then try to make some sex jokes with them or something.
I would take that into consideration, however, the Sega MegaDrive version does not have a 2 Player mode. Also, what kind of jokes would be referring of and how would I go about pulling this off for entertainment's sake?

Thanks for the link to the answer I needed. Now I have a little demo of the run. I'm working more on Stage 1 and will try to update this thread further after I'm done. But anyway, here is the first mini-demo: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1556103364/Bishoujo%20Senshi%20Sailormoon%20%28Japan%29.smv.

I've been working on it as much as I can, but I sorta don't know how I can resume recording from a certain point after playing it back and I'm using the Snes9x 1.51 v6. I know how to do re-record from savestates and frame advance, but I can't resume after stopping..

It's the first beat-em-up. So you are suggesting that I use two characters at once rather than using just one?

Uhm.. yeah, I saw the one run of the Genesis version of SailorMoon that was rejected in 2004 and I was hoping to start a run of my own of the SNES version on Hard, but I don't know how to go about it without it constantly repeating the same things over and over. I need some sort of suggestions as to how to pull this run off. Any help or advice would be nice.

Hmm.. I could only say that it looks fine from where it is atm. I might possibly spot something eventually, cheetah. And now on another note, I've restarted my run due to a time saver in the prologue. Here's a little WIP that stops up to Chapter 3. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1215887699/FESacredStonesWIP1.vbm

I must say, this run was a bit interesting and the author of this had done pretty well in providing some entertainment as well as playing the role of aiming for the fastest time. I indeed vote yes for this run.

Hello~ I do apologize if I am bumping the topic, but this sorta has something to do with this. I'm currently working on a run of my own, but on Difficult mode(Hard). I've already got to Chapter 4 and it's not as bad as I first pictured it to be.

I decided to cancel the Rokusho Version as I remembered that Metabee Version has more to offer in my opinion. So, if someone could possibly change the title to Metabots: Metabee Version, I'd appreciate it. Sorry for the inconvience.

I'm not exactly sure on that part, unless you had viewed my Youtube channel and saw the wrong video? xD Anyway, I'm working on it some more and hopefully get a bit more done for a decent WIP. Surprisingly, the beginning took lesser re-recordings than I thought it would..

Hello.. I'm hoping to start my first true TAS with Metabots: Rokusho version. I am sorta just going to aim to beat the game as fast as possible and I've also a tiny little thing for what will be the beginning of the TAS. I've already started and it seems fairly well. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.
