I dont think that is going to be faster, because I have to get around the block (either climbing or walking around after several pulls) and on top of that, I tried doing it and I dont see get how its done. I think its faster just pulling it.

Sony is a better product than Microsoft in my opinion :P Just look at the games Sony offers for the PSX and PS2 compared to those of XboX and Nintendo. That excerpts games that are playable on all system. With the success of Halo, you would think that Halo 2 would have been a hell of a lot better but they just kept every single stage with the same weapons (oh I know about the 3 new weapons, very L33T! pffff)with $10 modifications. The bluetooth technology that Sony is putting into their system will be my buy over the lame 360 (which did what? oh yeah scratched your $60 games because they sent bad systems out). Also I heard that the games can be controlled by your movement of your controller(tilt the controller left and the guy moves left). How amazing can that be? XboX needs to redesign their controllers as well as their system. As you can all tell, I hate the XboX. EXCEPT NINJA GAIDEN BLACK, which is by far the sweetest game on the system. Just my opinion :) Back to the topic, the run looks funny just playing 1 video at a time. Keep up the good work!

Easy yes vote. BIG improvements!!! Congrats. The end boss is soo much fun(the brain) because me and my friend would always get the worse choice which was the "eye" I believe, I think thats the one where the balls just kept bouncing around the screen and we could not help but get killed every damn time.

BOOOOOOO! I HATE HOW THAT DAMN THING SAYS "DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY" for the PS3. The PS3 is going to blow every damn system that exists out of the water!! 500$ is expensive but just wait some years and let tons of games come out then buy the system used or refurbished, simple as that.

You guys are awesome :) I'd like to add some notes based on what I am hearing. My first thought when posting the 1st message on this board was to make this a Test run, but getting perfect angles in certain parts is near impossible because Link will only set himself up in certain directions which is very very frustrating. I have put a lot of time in this run so far just doing "Segment 1" which is the 2nd smallest segment :( I will for sure send this in for publishing when I am done because I do not want to do it again once I get done. This game is very difficult trying to "perfect" every movement. Accuracy with weapons is another story, Its just the movement thats a pain in the ass. Plus, with the help of everyone here, Im sure this run will get more "perfect" as I advance. The only issue is the desynch. All of you have been greatly helping me out in any way possible (with ideas and support) and this run(hopefully) will get done by the end of the summer.

Yeah, everything works 100% on mine. I finally got the anibus to drop 3 red rupees, there was a 2 second wait to open the door for the randomness. Also, I was messing around with the chicken in Guerdo Valley a while back ago and noticed that you can get the chicken to call its crew on you with 1 jumpslash. Im guessing the jumpslash hits the chicken multiple times and triggers it to the cutscene after the final hit. Would this be faster than planned to enter the Bottom of the Well???

Wow, this sure brings sadness. BUT! Time saved will be time saved. So I wont reach the Castle just in time from the Forest after getting the SG? If not then other strategies will be found. Too bad AKA's Zora's Domain trick didnt work out while still a child. That would have saved a good 2 minutes from King Zora talking and his fatass moving.

Movie is fun but as Quietkane said "You're not really sure what's going on if you haven't played the game". That goes for me. I am not a fan(at all) of FF games. More of a BoF(Breath of Fire) person. Especially III and IV. But as of seeing 60% of the run so far, my eyes cannot take 425% speed anymore, a YES vote entirely from me. I liked the run because its an RPG and they seem to be the toughest TAS around because of the lenght of the game.

Well, if you are hella good at PC games, you can always get FRAPS to record screen play from PC video games. The quality is smoothe as butter and sound is excellent. Me and my buddies recorded Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (when it was the bomb)and we only recorded things like, the Biggest Car Jumps and onslaught killing spree on civilians and cops. Every .mpeg/.avi was working just fine and just like the game ran it. Give it a try http://www.fraps.com/

Hey, 1st stage of Metal Slug X done in less than 2 minutes. .AVI is ~ 34 Megs and is in a .ZIP https://webmail.unm.edu/Redirect/www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=C682DEFB485665FB In the run I: -Saved every prisoner. -Tried to minimize lag by not using a gun such as the Rocket Launcher and Enemy Chaser. -Fast time There are some worthless shots fired but thats because on the Heavy MachineGun, if you press the button once, it fires 4 or 5 bullets so most of my shots are actually aimed at people and targets in all the areas. Enjoy This is a funny screenshot.

Things that are missing from the Message Board: ---Final Burn Alpha Questions and Answers (Emulator Topics) ---MAME Games (Game Plan Topics) THERE IS NO MAME TAS/WIP!!!! So in that case, I will do Metal Slug X. I am currently 1/2 way on the 1st stage and chose MARCO because he's the best(in my opinion)with his facial expressions and such. In the run I am only trying to. --Fastest Time Completed --Maybe High Score ("MAYBE" because I dont shoot just bullets everywhere but rather aim for objects and targets because enemies count as 500 pts.) --Rescue every Prisoner in the stages.(that excludes other paths that they exist in because I cannot take 2 seperate paths) The only way I can think about a high score is colleting fallen treasures and especially in times like blowing up the leader helicopter so that the points increase on every 'copter behind it. Anyways, give me some feedback.

Here is what I got so far. Am I doing it right??? Also, if you can get the Anibus to drop 3 red rupees then go for it. I think the best method is to backwalk up to where you need to roll through the spike, then jump across and use a deku stick to avoid climbing back up.
