Did anyone figure out the glitch where you can warp up 1 level without a load screen or a boss fight? I remember I pulled it off by accident in level 2-2 or 2-3 and warped up a world in the underground of like 3-2. But when I tried to do it again, it put me back to level 1 or so. There is some trigger to make this happen and still have no idea what I did to pull it off

Did the codecs once again change?? I have Windows Media Player 10 with ffdshow codec installed which I though was the latest codec for playing .avi files. If someone could enlighten me on this. BTW, I also read the discussion about the codecs and still I have not solved my problem. Also, I downloaded Matroska and I have no idea what I'm doing with that. Please Help

Ill reload it back up and repost a message here when I get back to my dorm. The movie is Rygars Time Attack with an Audio of Between The Buried and Me. The song and the video goes perfect with eachother and I just wanted to see if you guys gave a hoot about it. I want to find other videos and make audio go with them but that will take a hell of a lot of planning and thinking.

I have never seen this done. The only way it can be done is if you know exactly what frames mouser will throw a bomb perfect enough to land right where you need to pass in the breakable wall. I find it nearly impossible and an "old wives tale" haha.

tmont, I know exactly what ya mean. I fudged up my first time playing and now Im going back through and correcting most of my problems... So far up to world 2-3 im 7 seconds ahead of my original time. Im starting to think that Luigi is the best character for world 1-3...Im not sure though..Anyways, Im still having trouble with the 3-1 to 3-2 thing.

Well, anyways, I'd love to figure the problem out someway or another. Cause if I was able to do it once. It can be done again. Like, what I think happened the 1st time is i was watching my old run and was doing a save state on each level to figure out where I can possibly save time.
I was being dumb and saved late on world 3-1 so i already picked luigi and really wanted toad.....now what I did is I died 3 times in a row by falling and then picked toad.....From there I made it to where I could glitch it and I thought I went through a magic door(I might have not) then if i did go through the door I might have grabbed the mushroom.....
Then I did the glitch and went to world 3-2.....
And a warpless run is not using warps. Abusing errors in the game to where it helps you advance is not warping.

Well, i keep trying to figure out WHY it is not letting me advance and I cannot figure it out. But honestly, I did glitch to world 3-2 and I have not been able to do it since.

1. The glitch USE to let me go from world 3-1 to 3-2(starting me off in the subworld). Now its putting me back in world 1-2 with the picture (shown before) of it still saying world 3-[ ]. Now. I have also said that after I have done all of this, I beat the next stage and it wont let me choose a character, rather than starting me off in the state that I am in, and starting me off a little to the right and on top of the hill. After I go to the end of the stage, I use the Warp to level 4-1 and it starts me in world 5-1 instead. Do you guys want video proof of this or what?

Okay, so check this.. There are some messed up errors in the game and after i did the glitch from 3-1 to 1-2 and then beat level 1-2. After going inside the eagles mouth, i was warped to the next level without getting bigger and was put ontop of the first hill next to the entrance. I wanted to find out what happens if I went in the Warp Zone at the end of the level and sure enough it sent me to world 5-1 instead of the usual 4-1. If there is an error coding in the game, I would love to figure it out.

yeah, downlow. but whats funny is when i die after the glitch from world 3-1 to 1-2 and i die, it says world 3-[ ] on 1-2. It sounds weird but its bugging the hell out of me

I found out some weird stuff. Earlier I was able to glitch from world 3-1 to world 3-2. Now when I'm trying to do my Run, It glitches me from 3-1 to 1-2.

I coughed so hard taking a rip on my pipe because the fight with Doom was so funny with the punches. Movie was fun, especially the driving was cool. Yes from me.

Im finding out some crazy ass stuff, i can actually skip a level without warping, making the run hella faster because I wont have to fight birdo, wait for the eagles mouth to open, and the inbetween gameplay parts. Some crazy things going on. Like I said, if anyone would like to contribute with me to this craziness. Add me to msn or something and we'll fudge it up.

Im thinking if there is something you can do with princess and her floating ability. You can actually go below the ground level and float for a good amount of seconds before you die. Maybe there is a glitch somewhere located there. If anyone has any ideas or wants to contribute to my run ill gladly send you my world 1-1, because its the only one i have finished so far.

I just started my SMB 2 Warpless run again. I know my previous run was pretty weak and right now im about 7 frames faster than my previous in world 1-1. I finally got my laptop back and I will be working on it for a while. I need to find out what bugs are in the game more towards world 2-1 through 3-3. and also world 5. But for now, im just going to explore more of the game.
