Hehe.. I don't bother about the speed of the end movie. I use PowerDVD. You can speed up movies using that. I bet there are other programs out there than can do the same though. Just my two cents. :)

I'm not really sure that the last boss heals when you cast a healing spell on him. Can't really remember. But I know that the hero and Phobe (spell?) are using diffrent colours when casting on the last boss. White and gren color, one of them is for damage, think it's white, and the other one is for regaining life. How ever I think it doesn't matter in the last fight. Can't really remember though. It's something back in my head. I will check if I have a save game there with my hardware snes some day. Unless someone plays the roms faster than I can install my machine. :D I don't really have knowledge of in whitch cardbore box it is since I moved. =) Anyways.. I'm waiting to see this speed run. Step on it! :D

How many players are you planning to have in that video? I mean.. It would be easy to beat one computer. But can you handle max number?

Well.. For SNES and Sega Mega drive (Genesis) these were used. I actually have one for SNES but no cables so. :( Not that I need it either, but it could be fun to give it a shoot. :) http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/backup/ffe/ffemagicom.html Could check the complete list at http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/backup/ Enjoy!

So... Is anyone picking this game up? I would actually love to see a speed run of this game. I played it alot when I was a kid. Personally though, I don't have the time to study games that much that I would be able to make a fun speed run.

Yeah! Still though he could have used more training, especially on the moving part. I mean. He runs into walls and stuff and get's stuck there for like a second some times. Even on hardware SNES it could have been made faster. Allso he fiddles some in the menues which seems pretty dumb. Still though, good for being on hardware anyways. I don't think I could have beat him without much training. Still think he could have made some things better though.

Just downloaded it and watched some. That movie is not even near perfection. So I think someone should try to make a better run really!

Yeah. I know about the supersuit, just wasen't sure about the numbers. Oh well. I don't really care. I know it's a bitch to time those jumps if you play it on the hardware, I have only managed to get the first 30 or what ever it is. :) Anyways.. Good luck in making the speed run. I can't wait to see it. Oh, and just a hint to have in mind if fighting undeads. There are those special items one can use to vaporise those ghosts into nothingness. That can save some time instead of fighting regular style. Otherwise if there are unnecessary fights you could just run away from em' to save time, but that woulden't look that stylish. :)

Awesome! I actually played this game on my SNES console just two months back. Even then I began thinking of a speed walk but it never went so far since I had alot to do at that time. Still has alot to do but I would really LOVE to see that speedrun. I thought that super jump thingie was maxed at 120 or something. I got a slight but unsure memory about that, so I don't really know. 120 is just something that I got related to that super jump.

I would love to see that game made. Don't have much time to make my own though. :/ Besides I'm a newbie to speed runs.
