I somewhat thought that another submission of this would be made because of either from the release of the second movie, or because of the AVGN. :) Glad to see this. Will watch it asap. Edit: watched now, and I'll give it a YES. Pure pwnage.

Bisqwit could probably check his web loggs to see which the most popular browser on the start page is. And still.. Those browsers that are not compatible with APNG would still display a static image. I do like the idea of rotating screenshots though, as CtrlAltDestroy suggested. I also like the idea with an OnMouseOver event to trigger the animation it self. I'm not that much into web design or coding my self, so I don't know how much work this would mean.

Why was the input so slow? Edit: Ah.. No re-records? You know this is forum is not about real-time playing right? Edit again: Wow! That was a quick rejection. :D

How about using a script that chooses a random screenshot to be displayed?
Yeah. But most likely it would contain what some people would consider to be spoilers, which can totally ruin the fun for those viewers. That is not the goal here.

I was just thinking that maybe it would be cool to have an animated thumbnail of the published movies instead of just a static one? Some times there are suggestions for more than one screenshot for example. Why not just compile them all into an animated PNG (*.apng)? If we want to keep the spoiler level lower, this has to be done by a human instead of a script that just takes 10 pictures and compiles them automatically. What do you guys think? Personally I think it would add a bit more motion to this site then just static stills.

Much better. Now, just do it during the endurance fight. :)

Will vote NO on this. Frame skipped most of it because of boredom I'm afraid. I still don't see any Reptile fight. Should still be done in the endurance fight.

I don't find this more entertaining just because you control the two characters at the same time. I know indeed how hard it is to do so my self, so it has nothing to do with the technique you use. I just don't see the point in clearing the game like that, even though you get to use all characters. Sorry, but this is a NO-vote.

I slightly feel that it lacked variation. And personally I like the original sound + sound effects.

For other fine-tuning options you'll have to consult the documentation.
Yeah, and since I don't know that much about what to choose, I was posting to get help with this too I hoped. :) Are there any good standard settings that should be used for example? What if I want to fit it on 700Mb cd? Are there any good guides or tutorials on this subject?

Yeah, but I was thinking more in the way of if there is a way to convert it without doing another conversion first?

That just seems like a batch script that executes other programs. And if it executes x264, it won't work. Secondly it seems that it's main purpose is for ripping and encoding DVD's for submitting at SDA. Thanks for input though. :)

Hi people, I have this avi-file on my computer which I wanted to compress, using the x264 codec. The video it self is at a resolution of 1280x720 and uses the mjpeg compression for the frames. I am now wondering what settings I would use to compress it with the x264 codec. Weapons of choice is either mencoder or virtualdub, since I can compress it using either Windows or Linux as OS. I tried using the x264.exe for windows, but that did not let me to decode the mjpeg file for conversion. The audio was no problem to encode separately of course. Thanks in advance.

No. Since they would get stuck.

Teflon is the material that makes the food not stick to the toaster. This is why I wanted some alternatives. :) Edit:

I'm actually asking for a software that can add stuff like this to the screen: If Movie maker supports doing just that, that would be news to me. Also, I don't think movie maker supports scrolling text.
You could probably use the logo filter with virtualdub. Check it out at http://neuron2.net/logo/logo.html Tutorial videos are available on Youtube. For example this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJgi9XWgbcM

Not the same thing as the toaster I posted. http://www.onoff.com/online/picdb.nsf/vPictures/54817/$file/prod_54817.jpg Edit: And I would not like the hatch to fall down on my carts. That would suck. :) And I excluded the idea of making it a joystick for an arcade machine, as I certainly don't want the lid to fall down on my fingers as I'm playing. Maybe I could make it into a distillery? =) It does not have to do anything with video games at all. Any fun idea you can come up with is qualified.

Ok so the scenario is this: I have an old sandwich toaster from which the teflon has worn off. The electricity is still working properly and the thing heats up in no time at all. Note that mine does NOT print Dinsey figures on it. It's already being sorted as going into the recycling bin, but then I thought "Hey! It's still a working piece of equipment, why should I throw it away?" I also have a replacement for it, so I don't mind throwing it away anyways. To the real question: Do you guys have any thought of fun modifications or other weird/wacky things you could do with this working but heavily used sandwich toaster? Feel free to think outside of the box. Cheers!

To me, the cheat code would be allowed, but since it is possible to manipulate the game to do the same thing, even though it might be hard to do, I think a cheat code would not be necessary. Also it is against the rules of this site.
