Congrats to the publish! :) Perhaps it will be more motivating to make a cooler movie now? =D It's impressive that someone managed to do this anyways, even though I did not really comply with the publishing of this one. Still good that it was doable since it did cause alot of problems before! Cheers! Hope to see more movies made by you!

Voting 'Meh'. I know there are very good glitches used. Yet I got bored with the game after 7 minutes or something. This is sad since I remember this being a good game and all. Those glitches made me not vote no, plain and simple.

There's one fundamental flaw that prevents this: it's Mortal Kombat II. Ultimate MK3 would be a lot more action-packed and fun in my opinion.
We all know it's MK2 we're talking about. Yet this movie is not action-packed as much as it could be. UMK3 is more action-packed because they've got a combo-system baked into it. Yet I feel it's more of a skill to cook up combos that no one thought of before, and pack them in a TAS. To make another silly referral, why do we have Sonic and Sonic 2 movies on the site? Two diffrent names, yet the same type of game, allthough Sonic 2 is more action packed because they've got a spin-tech baked into the game. That doesn't make Sonic (1) less fun to watch now does it? MK2 and UMK3 are two diffrent games, so please leave it like that. Cheers!

The point of this video is not to do it as quick as possible. It's to show-off the most wicked way to beat the game in. It really needs to be more action-packed than this. More glitches, more WOW!-sensations and stuff like that. The Kintaro-fatality means little really, but is a fun easter-egg which I also like to see. Perhaps hold L+R in the beginning to see Kintaro + Shao Khan beat the crap out of the logo? That would be fun as well. If you ask me this is not publishable material, right now. You need to pack it with more stuff first. It got great potential. But this should be classified as a good WIP only. I hope you will boost the next version. This attempt was good, but not great. Go for it! :)

Awesome to hear that someone is making a new TAS on this game. I have wondered for a long time if no one will pick it up.

18th june. Some people born at the same date. http://www.nndb.com/lists/687/000106369/ Also I think Magnus Uggla (swedish musican) has his birth day at the same time.

So is the DMA transfer one of the issues? If those warnings are showing it's possible to fool the game somehow right?

Perhaps this is only possible on the last two bosses? I recon they both are weak to Lumina or something, so it would never occur to me to try any other spells against them really. Does someone feel to try it out? Grab hold of some save state some where and try it.

A friend of mine just gave me a link of something I've never seen before. Shadow Zero can appear if you cast evil gate over and over again! :D Read more here http://secretofmana.planets.gamespy.com/shadowzero.html There are also some screen shots that looks interesting. :)

Because I suppose I could re-distribute it faster than a bunch of people fighting eachother to complete it first?

Sorry for that. I have put all tas-related things in a subfolder called "tas" ;) Here's the proper URL: http://133an.sytes.net/~highness/tas/Gens_Editor_v1.rar

I've said it before and I do say it again. Feel free to send me the avi's before publishing it on the website. I can seed rather fast and I have other boxes in my possession that can do the same with their connection.

Wow! That really put a smile on my lips. :D Watched them all. Rayden had one of the coolest. Nearly crashes the game. Takes a long while before one can make input again. :) I like the arm rip with Jax as well. I first thought the blood were spraying from the opponents ass. That would be hillarious. But when I looked again I saw that it came from the legs. :( If you can plant any of these glitches into the real run it would be a real boost to the entertainment factor. Cheers mate! :)
